In the post, Renard asked the said gasoline station to provide a larger space for the customer’s name.
Netizen Quinantoto said in a Facebook post: “Paging PETRON San Mateo Isabela Baka naman po pwede nyong palapadin kahit konte yung resibo nyo? Yung apilyedo ko hindi nagkasya! Nagulat ako! #petron #petronisabela #SPG “

Department of Education is in the middle of investigating a viral video of a teacher screaming and hitting a group of boy scouts of Cutog Elementary School in Reina Mercedes, Isabela.
The viral video uploaded on Facebook reached more than 16,000 shares.
The teacher’s screams towards a group of Grade 4 to Grade 6 students can be heard as the boys are seated on the floor of a tent. An off-campus activity was said to be taking place during that time. She also hit several boys and forced another to enter the tent.
A parent of one of the students spoke up saying that it hurts to see her son’s own teacher hurting children. “Masakit din ang loob ko na bakit niya ginawa ‘yun… Gusto ko ring matanggal siya rito sa eskuwelahan.” She added that she’s willing to forgive the teacher as long as she faces the parents of the boy scouts involved.
According to Department of Education spokesperson Annie Sevilla, it’s possible that the teacher got mad because of students missing during the said activity and that she may also be pregnant, however, what she did was not the right way to discipline kids.
“It’s a clear violation of our policy. Dahil sabi nga natin dapat una positibo, walang violence. Pangatlo magbibigay dapat ng mas magandang leksiyon.”
Teacher to transfer schools.
Sevilla has reported that the involved teacher is said to be transferring schools as she has agreed to resign from her previous workplace.
“Per update of the regional director last night, nag-agree siya na ma-reassign ng eskuwelahan while we are undergoing the fact-finding investigation.”
She also added that both students and the teacher is under the protection of DepEd.
“Both the learners and the teacher, who is now subject to judgment ng publiko, ang gusto nating sabihin ay ito po ay under ng ating school management.”
“We hope the public will give the due respect na ang eskuwelahan alam gagawin dito dahil hindi rin po pwede na hindi natin didisiplinahin ang mga bata. Ang gusto po natin maging responsable ang mga bata but at the end of it all, hindi po natin papayagan ang pagdidisiplina ng hindi tama, ito po ay dapat positive and non-violent.”
President Rodrigo Duterte has always been strong-willed and direct when it comes to speaking his opinions. Though tough on other things, he showed vulnerability when he said that he is afraid to die.
In his speech in front of the troops of the Philippine Army’s (PA) 5th Infantry Division to confer the Medal of Valor award to wounded soldiers in Isabela last Tuesday, September 18, the President and Commander-in-Chief commended the soldiers for their bravery.
“I admire the Valor awardees because I am a coward. I am afraid to die.
“I idolize all the brave men. Congratulations, I salute you!”
He went on and praised the army members’ courage and determination to fight for the country. He also mentioned the military’s continuous efforts to fight armed groups like the New People’s Army (NPA) and predicted that the rebels will lose the fight by mid-2019.
“Because of your valiant efforts, we have convinced almost a hundred NPA members to surrender and decided to return to the fold of the law. We also successfully recovered 45 firearms. I think that if God is merciful, this would be over by about the second quarter of next year. Many are surrendering.
“You are not alone in this fight. The path that we have chosen is one that is difficult and one that requires selfless dedication. Know that the government will provide you the tools and the resources necessary to effectively perform your mandate as protectors of the nation.”
On Tuesday, September 18, President Rodrigo Duterte urged the public to forward their donations for the victims of Typhoon Ompong to the government instead of the television stations.
He stated in a situation briefing at the Provincial Capitol Guest House in Isabela that people can donate through the military and humanitarian organization Red Cross.
“I will not mention it but yung mga prominent TV network, I’m giving you a testimony, personal. Ang sabi mag-donate kayo, used clothes ganun, sa kanila then they’ll give you a bank account number where you can deposit your donation. You’re better off giving it to government or to the military and let them distribute it direct.”
Duterte claimed that he has personally witnessed how members of an unidentified TV program would keep stuff from the donations that they can use.
“Because I have a TV program, nakikita ko yung matatanda diyan sa opisina they were sorting out the things that were usable or are usable for them.
“Maniwala kayo sa akin as your president, I’m giving you what I saw and what I have learned so ‘yan lang muna.”
He added that he can understand the Filipino’s distrust, but the officials are really just doing their jobs.
“Hindi naman mapilit ang perception ng tao sa amin.
“But most of the officials who have sworn their duty to the people, nandiyan ‘yan nagta-trabaho.”
The President then praised Isabela’s quick disaster response in the aftermath of Typhoon Ompong.
“Ang pumunta ako dito is to congratulate the officials, the governor, vice governor and everybody of you who were ready at the forefront really to face the onslaught and I admire the preparation…”
Indeed true love can withstand everything, even a literal storm.
A couple in Cordon town got married on September 15, while Typhoon Ompong was wreaking havoc in the Philippines.
Photographer Dondie Aliñavon Ariola shared photos of Glenn Guillermo Agapito and Jasmine Vicencio Apigo standing in the middle of their wrecked reception venue.
The Signal No. 4 warning did not stop Glenn and Jasmine from posing for an unusual wedding photoshoot.
In a post by Dondie, he captioned it with “Kahit sampong ompong pa ang dumating, kahit masira man ang dekorasyon, tuloy na tuloy parin…
“Umulan bumagyo ayos lang, ayos lang…. tuloy na tuloy parin.”
According to him, the couple was saddened by the ruined venue but decided to continue the wedding as that was the original plan. “Nadismaya daw po sila nalungkot pero dapat pa rin ituloy yung kasal kac yun na po napagusapan. Saka sabi before rain or shine tuloy tay0 sabi sakin.”
Their reception was moved to the barangay hall of Turod Sur, Cordon.
