After receiving flak, ride-hailing firm Grab Philippines took down its post that featured Kapamilya stars Julia Barretto, Maja Salvador, Pia Wurtzbach, Kim Chiu, Sarah Geronimo, and Bea Alonzo with the caption: “Walang kailangang maiwan. Walang kailangang masaktan. Sa GrabCar 6-seater, pwedeng magsabay-sabay.”
The six actresses have all been linked one time or another to Gerald Anderson who is currently the subject of cheating rumors.
The post immediately gained thousands of reactions, mostly negative for being insensitive and offensive.

.@grabph , what is this? No, that's a rhetorical question. Why do you think it's funny to make fun of someone's pain? We all know the background of this joke or an ad or whatever but it's not funny. Stop normalizing cheating. pic.twitter.com/Uo7ucKLBQ2

@grabph it's cool you're trying to be witty and relevant and all…but it's one thing to join the netizens in this meme reaction bandwagon and TOTALLY another to profit from it by making it an instant free "ADVERTISEMENT", unless, paid talents mo yung mga artists na nasa picture? pic.twitter.com/HtWaKJwSuH

If I have to explain to @grabph why this is crude and done in bad taste, then your social media content team is out of touch with today's sensibilities.

Last Sunday, Alonzo, Anderson’s girlfriend of almost three years, made cryptic posts on Instagram, alluding to betrayal. While she didn’t say who she was posting about, eagle-eyed fans noticed Bea had liked the Instagram post about Gerald spending time with another celebrity, Julia Barretto. Previous women linked to Anderson were also brought up again.

3. De Rossi Sisters
When Assunta de Rossi married Congressman Jules Ledesma in a civil wedding back in November 2002, no family member of hers attended the ceremony. Admittedly, she and Alessandra de Rossi had fissure in their relationship, giving the other a silent treatment.

4. Mother and Daughter, Cecilia and Heart
It was well-known how Heart Evangelista’s parents, especially her mother Cecilia Ongpauco, were against her wishes to marry Senator Chiz Escudero. They did not attend her wedding back in February 2015 in Balesin.

6. Gal Pals
Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador have been the best of friends until news came out that Kim’s ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson was in a relationship with Maja.
In an interview back in October 2015, Kim revealed that her friendship with Maja is being mended piece by piece.
7. Three is a Crowd
One of the biggest controversies before was the sudden break-up of sweethearts Dingdong Dantes and Karylle, when the former became entangled with his on-screen partner Marian Rivera.
Years later, Marian and Karylle were seen in the same event in which both greeted each other with kisses in the cheek.
Truly, time heals all wounds.
8. Barretto family feud
Sisters Gretchen and Claudine Barretto have been estranged for years due to a bitter family feud. Earlier this month, the two met for dinner, fueling speculation that they have managed to finally patch their relationship up.
On Instagram, Claudine shared that Gretchen had been with her for the past few days as she recovered from her illness.

Actress Maja Salvador spoke about how she tackles relationship problems in the latest episode of Bianca Gonzalez‘s Paano Ba ‘To webseries on November 20, Tuesday.
The question she had to answer was about her way of moving on from an ex-lover when that person is also her co-worker. She answered that she’s civil with her exes and she doesn’t feel awkward whenever she greets them.
Salvador added that she’s also glad whenever she learns that her past boyfriends are happy with their respective relationships.
“Sa akin, ‘yung mga ex ko, nakakasalubong ko, pero sobrang naka-move on na ako, kaya ‘pag nakita ko sila, okay na. Hindi ako na-o-awkward na batiin sila, kasi talagang honest ako sa sarili ko na wala na, naka-move on na ako. Happy na rin naman sila sa mga relationship nila sa iba.”
She said that work should not be affected by the relationship and it has to continue without any distractions.
“Dapat, tuloy ang trabaho. Huwag kang magpa-apekto or ma-distract. Gawin mo pa rin nang maayos ‘yung trabaho mo.”
The actress went on and reminded everyone that there’s no such thing as a “formula” for moving on.
“Walang sagot kung bakit ang sakit, kasi iba-iba ang kuwento natin. Okay lang ‘yung pain, pero dapat may isang araw, ikaw na mismo sasabihin mo sa sarili mo, ‘Bangon na, move on ka na.’
“Huwag na huwag mong i-asa ang happiness mo sa love lang, kasi magiging kawawa ka.”

Despite being relatively young in the cosmetics industry, Blair Cosmetics is definitely booming in market sales and good reviews. Initially, the make-up brand entered the market with just a few products but after several years of hard work, they are proud to announce that some expansions are on its way for Blair.
Steffi Blair Ong, CEO of Blair, reveals that the company is not new in the beauty and grooming industry as it originates from her mother Susan Co Ong’s company, Pretty Looks Aesthetic Center. Dealing with her Asia’s Number One Tattoo Artist of a mother, Steffi has always been fond of cosmetics even though she pursued the profession of a Registered Nurse. It took them years of planning and establishing the brand, and they are more than happy to see their market grows year by year.
Even though Blair shines on its own, it needs a star to even strengthen its shimmer—and that’s the role this new ambassador will try to conquer. With the beauty that she is, Blair Cosmetics is happy to announce that Maja Salvador will be joining their growing family to solidify their market dominance. As laid down by Steffi herself, Maja possesses these four characteristics a Blair woman should have:
Maja Salvador is known for her exuding confidence both on the dancefloor and acting on the television and movies. A Blair woman knows her weaknesses and turns it into her strength.
Blair Cosmetics needs someone who is not only beautiful on the outside, but the brand believes true beauty also comes from within.

After a year of showcasing her expertise in acting, Maja couldn’t be any grateful that she’s given the chance to is finally satisfy the insatiable hunger of her performer side.
“Nung sinabi na may plans about concert and ano magiging title, sinabi ko lang na parang na buong 2017, nagpaka actress ako, nag Wildflower lang ako the whole year, diba? So parang 2018, sasampa ulit ako ng stage,” she said.
The upcoming concert is set to be Maja’s fourth major show in her career. There’s “Maj: The Legal Performer” (2014), “Majasty” (2015) and “Only Maja” (2016).
“Eh forever love ko ‘yon. Forever love ko ‘yong pag-sho-show kaya hindi man kami magsama, magkahiwalay man kami ng ilang taon, pero babalik-balikan ko sya,” said Maja.
Similar to her jaw-dropping and viral performances on “ASAP” the Dance Princess promised that hew newest concert tour is set to be an explosive one.
“Siyempre, not the same as sa MOA, sa mga naging concerts sa Music Museum, kasi syempre we want something new naman lagi. So, iba yung atake sa music, sa sayaw,” she explained.
Quite interestingly, their first show is set to be special because it would involve a good collaboration between her and her team.
“Dito sa first show, parang wala kaming director, so kami-kami. Parang kung ano yung concept nung ng choreographers ko ganon. Parang nagusap-usap kami, nag set kami ng meeting para pagusapan ng buo,” said Maja.
Adding the necessary oomph and entertainment to her tour are her “Wildflower” leading men and hunky Kapamilya stars Joseph Marco, RK Bagatsing and Vin Abrenica, as well as her comedian friends Kakai Bautista and Pooh on some shows.
“Siguro sa lakas din ng Wildflower yung mga producers yung may gusto na kasama si Vin, si RK and Joseph. Tapos may Kakai and Pooh. Syempre si Kakai, kaibigan ko. And si Pooh, magaling na komedyante naman yon, diba? At nag-trending yung tour naming yon sa Canada,” explained Maja.
More than flexing her concert performance muscles, Maja considers her upcoming shows as her personal way of saying to thank those who have unwaveringly supported her as Lily Cruz in “Wildflower.”
Even if she admits to feeling a little anxious over performing in front of a huge crowd again, Maja is ready to brave everything in order to put her ultimate goal across.
“Siguro yung always na sinasabi ko, to give happiness. Yung magbigay ng entertainment sa mga kapamilya natin sa iba’t-ibang lugar at sa iba’t-ibang bansa. Yun naman talaga ang gusto ko kaya ko ginagawa ang lahat ng ito,” she ended.

Thai Superstar ToR+ Saksit and Philippine’s Dance Princess Maja Salvador have stretched their resources to finally make their dream song collaboration come true.
Few months ago, unpublicized, the Wildflower actress flew to Bangkok, Thailand to record the soulful duet with ToR+. They stayed their for days to meet with the Thai management and to get along with the Thai superstar. The duo showed real chemistry in front of the cameras and actually looked good together.
To be released globally, their single ‘Falling Into You’ was penned by ToR+ himself along with his trusted co-writers. The song actually brings out the superb piano playing skills and heartfelt vocals of the Thai Superstar and also to be complimented by Maja’s sultry and emotion-filled delivery.
In an exclusive interview with DailyPedia, the 33-year-old Superstar admitted how Maja was the first time he saw her.
“The best part was she’s very friendly, very natural,” ToR+ described Maja during their first meeting. “When you see an actress–a very famous actress, sometimes, they are very worried of being beautiful all the time. It makes them a little bit less attractive for me. Maja isn’t like that,” he added.
He also detailed that the working relationship between him and Maja is very fun and light because she is very easy to work with, let alone she’s very friendly.
We’re sure you can’t wait until February next year for the single to be released. For a little detail giveaway, the song is very soulful and you cannot not see them sing it together live. *winks*
We don’t want to overspill the beans here, but it’s now safe to spread the news that our MAJAsty Maja Salvador has partnered up with Thai superstar ToR+ Saksit for a song collab.
Yes, you heard that right. Maja Salvador is now ready to take the main stage once more and pursue her passion in singing. This dream partnership with ToR+ was spearheaded by BEC-TERO Music Thailand. The idea came to reality when the Ivory Music and Videos Philippines, along with Maja and her management, flew to Bangkok to record a beautiful ballad with the Thai premier singer-songwriter-pianist and heartthrob.
Oops… there it goes. “Falling Into You” is the single both Maja and ToR+ are working on for a few months now. They are pleased to announce that this beautiful ballad will come out in stores February of 2018. This collaboration also marks different firsts for Maja and T0R+. It’s the first time Maja did a duet, and it’s also ToR+’s first time to record an English song.
We are not new to the news of our celebrities going big in different countries, but the question remains. Since this is a partnership with a well-known Thai entertainment company, will she be willing to accept long-time acting and singing offers in Thailand?
In an exclusive interview with The Lily Cruz herself, she said,
“Iba pa rin ang Pilipinas,” she said. “May kontrata ako sa ABS-CBN, and I’m very happy sa career ko dito sa Pilipinas. Kung may mga ganong opportunities na magbukas. Siguro ano lang ‘yun, for the meantime,” MAJAsty added.
Adding to her statement about her possible work in Thailand,
“Let’s see. Ready naman ako sa mga challenges,” she charmingly shared. “Diba ang buhay, ang daming sorpresa. Ready ako sa kung anong ibigay ng life. Bawat success naman ng Pinoy ay success naman ng bawat Pilipino,” she preached.
So, who’s excited to see Maja conquer that stage again? We do!
