The reality show of ABS-CBN network, Pinoy Big Brother, has been entertaining viewers for more than a decade now. Since it is a reality show, all the actions of the contestants are not scripted and only given tasks to accomplish.
In every season of Pinoy Big Brother, there are always controversies that shook viewers and became talk of the season. Now let us recall the most scandalous moments in the PBB House since it started.
1. Nene Tamayo and Cass Ponti
Back in season 1, we remember Kuya’s famous pool where big winner Nene and third placer Cass kissed in front of their fellow housemates.
2. Beatriz Saw and Maricris Dizon
“Act your age, Maricis!” was the iconic line of Beatriz Saw. After the intense exchange of conversation, it became the Internet’s favorite from Season 2.
3. Dionne Monsanto and Ezekiel Dimaguila
The closeness of Dionne and Ezekiel has been Kuya’s primary concern from Season 2. They have been scandalous when Dionne went on her knees to smear sunblock all over Zeke’s genitals and there was a time when she was right on top of Zeke’s shirtless body and Dionne just plopped herself on him.
4. Sam Milby and Chx Alcala
Another moment from season 1 that they surely love to remember is the scandalous moment in the pool when Sam and Chx had their hottest kissing moment.
5. Rustom Padilla’s confession
This has become one of the most controversial PBB moments when former action star Rustom Padilla finally revealed to his friend Keanna Reeves his gender identity. He transitioned into a woman and is now known as BB Gandang Hari, currently working and living in the United States.
6. Bianca Gonzales and Zanjoe Marudo
These two had also become housemates of PPB Celebrity Edition. As they developed their closeness inside the house, they also had the longest hugging moment in the PBB house.
7. Lou Yanong and Andre Brouillette

After he tried hosting for the travel show Trip na Trip, he decided to live in New York City where he now manages his own cafe business.
Cass was the third big placer of the season and was very close to Uma as she is Filipino-Indian. Adding to that, she was also the resident cook of the house.
After PBB, she became a sexy actress and had the chance to be on the cover of a Maxim. After her disappearance in showbiz, she lived a simple life with her family. Cass now has two children.

The Asia’s Songbird has recently signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN Network and it got people asking the reasons behind her decision.
In her welcome press conference last Wednesday, October 17, Regine Velasques has revealed some of the details why she decided to transfer networks after being a Kapuso for 20 years.
1. There are not enough leading men in GMA.
In a report made by Pep.ph, Cacai Velasquez, who is the singer’s sister and business manager, revealed that there’s actually a scarcity of potential leading men in GMA Network.
“Kunwari yung pag soap, sinong puwedeng i-partner? Yung ganun ba?
“In terms of project, nali-limit din. You’re limited to the characters also kasi yung leading man, medyo kapos.”
2. Regine’s decision was not because of the talent fee but to explore more opportunities.
Cacai also said that it was not about how much the talent fee is anymore, but because Regine wants to work with other artists and have more opportunities.
“Nothing to do with the TF [talent fee] anymore… eto yung decision niya na nothing to do with the TF anymore. It was a factor before but ang talaga sa kanya is to work with other artists, yun talaga.”
GMA-7 also released a statement saying that they respect the singer’s decision to join her husband in ABS-CBN and pursue other opportunities in another network.
“We understand her decision to join her husband and we wish her well as she pursues other opportunities outside GMA Network.”
3. To work with ABS-CBN’s artists.
With Regine’s ABS-CBN transfer, she is now free to work with some of the network’s biggest stars.
When asked who she’s looking forward to having a project with, she named Piolo Pascual, Aga Muhlach, Morisette Amon, Robin Padilla, and one of her best friends Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
4. Her interest on returning to the big screen.
Regine then told reporters about her excitement about exploring projects like opportunities to star in movies and to work with her husband Ogie Alcasid.
“I’m excited kasi ang Star Cinema nandiyan lang, so, siyempre gagawa rin tayo ng pelikula.”
She also showed interest to be partnered with Jericho Rosales, Sam Milby, and Coco Martin.
5. To collaborate with OPM Icons.
Aside from singers who were also from GMA-7 like Janno Gibbs, Lani Misalucha, and Jaya, Regine is also looking forward to collaborating with Kapamilya singers.
She said that she’s looking forward to working with vocalists in ASAP, especially Sarah Geronimo.
“I’m so excited because I get to work with Sarah. Alam niyo naman kung gaano ko kamahal si Sarah. Plus I get to work with other singers in ‘ASAP.'”
6. ABS-CBN has a lot of mediums for artists like Regine to offer
From print (books, magazines) to records (Star Music) to movies (ABS-CBN Films), teleseryes and many more. ABS-CBN also has a lot of produced shows locally and abroad which will widen her reach as an artist.
7. Wants to experience being with #1 TV Station in the Philippines
Regine wanted to work with ABS-CBN and called the network ‘number one.’
“Yun talaga yun, na bago man lang matapos yung career ko, masabi kong nakatrabaho ko din ang number one station.”

Mash-up is defined as the act or process of combining and orchestrating instrumental and vocal tracks from two or more songs.
Mash-ups are often associated with comical acts performed by stand-up comedians, entertainers, singers, etc. Delivering an amusing mash-up definitely brings laughter and quality entertainment to its listeners or viewers.
It is one better way of making people laugh without being quite offensive or without unconsciously taunting other people.
However, I am still uncertain about its legality or if the recording companies as well as the songs’ composers are in favor of having their songs be mixed with others. Nonetheless, mash-ups are really pleasurable to watch and will show you how talented and at the same time, humorous and creative a person is.
Here I have collected 10 of the funniest and most amazing Pinoy mash-ups that I have seen so far. I have included mash-ups from non-celebrity personalities because there are a lot of talented non-showbiz singers out there who can deliberately produce a funny or extraordinarily amazing mash-up. Feel free to suggest other mash-up videos or song numbers that you think deserve to be in this list.
Note: Expect to see more than one Ate Gay mash-ups in this list. I ain’t a big fan of his but his mash-ups are really astonishing. He’s so good at it that I even wanted to call her as the King or should I say “Queen of Pinoy Mash-ups”.
