A Facebook User named Jake Cobb shared a sweet and touching video of him proposing to his girlfriend.
But it’s not like those simple proposals that people always see online or in television shows. It was because he proposed to his girlfriend at his own birthday party.
According to his video caption, his girlfriend surprised him with a Jollibee Kiddie Party at Fairview for his birthday, but she never knew that she would be the one surprised.
It started off just like a simple Jollibee party with Jollibee dancing and taking photos with everyone afterwards. But then someone announced that Jollibee will have another special number.
The mascot pretended to sing Erik Santos’ ‘I’ll Never Go.’ He then started dancing and holding hands with Jacob’s girlfriend.
And as the song ended, a short audio of Jacob’s message was heard.
Jacob then appeared at the entrance and made Jollibee hold a banner that says “Will You Marry Me?” as he got down on one knee.
The proposal got a positive outcome as his girlfriend finally said yes!
It ended with Jollibee congratulating them and crying copiously at the emotional scene.

Every now and then, we hear proposal stories–it has come to a point when it became saturated already. But looking back, every story is unique in its own ways, strategies that we, too, cannot imagine.
They are just too sweet that you can never be bitter with it.
Another viral marriage proposal circulated online couple Frances Dannielle Rodas and Levinjune Solis got engaged at a McDonald’s store. According to Rodas’ Facebook post, she was about to get late for work when her beau asked for a breakfast date.
Even though she was so hungry at the time, all she wanted was a sandwich. This is for the fact that she is almost late for work. Solis insisted that they go to the nearby McDo, she gave in.
On the counter, she ordered one-piece chicken meal–her favorite. The cashier responsible for their queries asked Rodas if she wanted anything else. She said she’s already good.
The female staff insisted her to order more and presented their newest offering. Little did she know, when the staff rolled down the menu, it has a message that would change her life forever.
“Will you marry me?” the board said.
“Sobrang nahihiya ako kasi ang daming tao may mga nag video pa. Basa pa kami sa ulan. ‘Di man lang ako nakaayos,” she narrated. That’s when the time she sought validation to Solis and the guy popped the question.
“It’s a YES, of course,” she ended her story.
Sweet, isn’t it? She also expressed her gratitude to the whole McDonald’s crew who made the proposal possible.

After his failed first proposal attempt, the 34-year-old Dale Sharpe planned out what seemed to be the most majestic marriage proposal ever.
It took him 7 years before bending one knee in front of her 29-year-old partner, Karlie Russell.
He confessed that his first attempt was a complete epic fail. He got slashed off $4,000 dollars after Russell threw away the hand moisturizer where Sharpe originally put in the ring. Dale shrugged it off and saved up to buy a new ring for their two-month visit in the Arctic Circle.
His original plan was to pop out the question on their seventh anniversary, but the breathtaking Northern Lights changed his mind.
In a statement, he said, “It was the most amazing display of colour in the Aurora that we’ve ever seen. I wanted to take [a] full opportunity and make it happen at its absolute best. The moment was right, it felt good, so why not.”
Due to his expertise in photography, he was able to ensure the majestic photos of the incredible moment. As soon as the Aurora glows, he set up a head torch to make sure they would stand out against the lights. He then put his camera on a timer before pulling out the engagement ring from his bag.
The photo circulated online and it went viral right away. The couple was very happy to share their one-of-a-kind engagement to the world.
“The most ironic thing is that we’re both landscape photographers, but have zero photos hanging up on our walls of our images,” Sharpe admitted. “But this is one image that we want to keep for ourselves and hang up on the wall.”
Men nowadays spend time, money, and effort to stage grand marriage proposals. Rather than just having a traditional and modest wedding proposal, men take months of planning so that their future wives get the perfect once-in-a-lifetime moment.
Jason Darocca, a seaman, knew exactly how to pop the question to his girlfriend Rea Rizza H. Penolvo, a nurse based in Saudi Arabia. Instead of carrying out a traditional marriage proposal, Darocca sought the help of dozens of people in order to pull off his one-of-a-kind wedding proposal in the midst of Hinugyaw Festival in Koronadal City.
“May, we’ve been together for years now and I am extremely grateful ever since I first laid eyes on you. It’s the moment I knew I loved you and my love for you grows more each year. You are a beautiful and caring person and have always been there for me 100% through the bad times. My family adores you and I can’t imagine my life without you,” Darocca said.
In front of thousands of people, Darocca bravely asked Penolvo the question: “I think I need to take this a step further. I am going to ask you a very important question. Can you make me the happiest man in the world tonight? Rea Rizza Penolvo, will you marry me?”
Did Penolvo give her much awaited “yes” to Darocca? Watch the heartwarming video and find out.
Despite China’s hard line stance on gay marriage, an unidentified young man went against the odds and proposed to his male lover on a crowded Beijing subway.
But unlike typical marriage proposals, the man who got down on his knee presented his boyfriend a timepiece instead of a ring.
After putting it around his boyfriend’s wrist, the two hugged each other indicating that his lover said yes.
Several onlookers caught the romantic moment on camera and numerous footage emerged on the Chinese social media site Weibo.
Although the video was frowned upon by some Web users, it also elicited thousands of positive comments from netizens. “Those who say this is disgusting, you are not qualified to judge others,” one commented.
Meanwhile, one user stated, “You should admire their courage. Just because they are people you don’t understand, and even with the pressures of those looking down on them as ‘sinful,’ they are still brave to express their love.”
Although homosexuality was legalized in China in 1997, the couple will not able to tie the knot in the country since gay marriage is still against the law.
Hopefully, the newly-engaged couple can get hitched soon outside China.
