Is a comedy movie starring Daniel Padilla and Charo Santos-Concio in the works?

Is a comedy movie starring Daniel Padilla and Charo Santos-Concio in the works?

  • There’s a new rumor that Daniel Padilla has a new movie project together with Charo Santos-Concio
  • This will be the first time that Daniel Padilla and Charo Santos will be working together
  • But still there was no update when they would start the project
  • The importance of having a new tandem or love team is the contentment of viewers in watching the movie

This year’s highlight in showbiz is the exchange of partners among love teams. Like Kathryn Bernardo with Alden Richards, who recently announced their new tandem “KathDen.”

How about Daniel Padilla? Who will be his new lucky partner?

Kathryn’s longtime love team partner Daniel Padilla is rumored to have a new movie project with Charo Santos. Some say that it will be a comedy movie with the working title “Ang Lalaking Dumukot kay Charo Santos.”

But the question is, “Is it true?”

The rumors started over an Instagram post of Star Cinema executive Maluo Santos and film producer Niel Arce. This will be the first time that Daniel Padilla and Charo Santos would be in a movie that would be directed by Joyce Bernal, under Spring Films.

But still, there was no update when they would start the project.

This is not the first time that Daniel and Kathryn had worked separately with different projects. In 2017, Kathryn was one of the cast members for the family drama “Three Words to Forever,” while Daniel was also part of the cast of the movie “Revenger Squad.”

What is more important in having a new tandem or love team is the contentment of the viewers in watching the movie. Though it may not be the usual movie that fans used to watch of the loveteam partners, but directors and filmmakers have seen a potential in new pairings that could excite the viewers.

May may not agree of tandems having new partners, but neither is it bad to try for a change.

“The family is unorthodox, but yes, it’s a joyful and happy family”; Daniel Padilla and Karla Estrada engage in a serious talk

“The family is unorthodox, but yes, it’s a joyful and happy family”; Daniel Padilla and Karla Estrada engage in a serious talk

  • Daniel Padilla and Karla Estrada engage in a deep conversation in one episode of Magandang Buhay.
  • The young actor shared some of this thoughts and plans that he doesn’t usually share to the public.

In the November 21 episode of Magandang Buhay, Daniel Padilla surprised his mom, Karla Estrada, a road trip with his siblings for her 44th birthday.

The young actor asked what her plans are and she shared that she wants to finish everything before she turns 50.

Ang plano ko ay matapos na lahat before 50 para naman makapagpahinga naman ako by 50. But we’ll never know kung hanggang kailan tayo puwedeng kumilos. Everything is planned at the moment, gusto ko lang matapos na lahat, maplantsa.”

As the trip goes on, one of the questions asked was how will they describe their family. Karla answered that they are happy and successful, while Daniel answered that it’s “unorthodox”.

“Unorthodox. Mahirap i-explain, but that’s it. The family is unorthodox, but yes, it’s a joyful and happy family.”

Karla shared that the biggest lesson that she learned from the show is stop judging other people based on the rumors that you hear, which Daniel then agreed.

“Yeah, at kung may narinig kang ganun, you save them. I mean, kung alam mo na hindi siya ganun… Tama ‘yon, never judge people.

I think kailangan nating simulan sa sarili natin. Kasi hindi na panahon ngayon para isisi natin sa iba.

“Dapat sa atin [manggaling], kahit sa maliit na paraan. Kami, sinisimulan natin sa bahay. Pero totoo ‘yon, kailangan nating i-save ang mundo natin. It really needs changing talaga. We want change, but do we really want to change? You want change, but do you really move?”

When Karla asked her son about the dreams that he has yet to achieve, he answered that he hopes to “wake up to a better world“.
