During a July 18 episode, It’s Showtime host Jhong Hilario brought up TV5 cutting off the show at 3 pm

“It’s Showtime” viewers watching the noontime show on TV5 was caught by surprise when the channel abruptly switched programs.

During a July 18 episode, It’s Showtime host Jhong Hilario brought up TV5 cutting off the show at 3 pm.

Hilario went live on social media to let TV5 viewers know that the program was still running. “Putol na kasi tayo sa 5,” he said as his co-hosts laughed.

Ogie Alcasid also greeted viewers watching the program on the A2Z Channel and the Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).

The episode was scheduled to run until 4:30 pm as part of its debut on TV5, which also welcomed the “madlang people” for the first time amid the pandemic. “Dahil palagi natin mina-manifest ang better days. Another big door has opened for all of us. What’s up madlang pipol, what’s up mga Kapatid!” Vice said.

Maraming salamat TV5 dahil hindi kayo nag-atubiling pagbuksan kami ng pintuan para mas maging pangmalakasan ang pagpapalaganap namin ng good vibes sa ating mga madlang pipol,” Vhong added.

The program’s viewers then called on TV5 to extend its air time.

Many suggested that Tropang LOL, another variety show that preceded the program, should either be canceled or moved to another time.
