Janus del Prado defends Bea Alonzo after Erick Salud’s alleged sentiment on her network transfer

Del Prado can’t help but lash out for his friend as he posted a photo stating the phrase

Former Star Magic talent and Bea Alonzo‘s friend Janus del Prado fought back against ABS-CBN director and executive Erick Salud‘s claims that “an actress” was making excuses as to why her then-ongoing project with the Kapamilya network was discontinued.

“So ayun nga. Lumipat nga ang isang aktres. Bakit kaya? Eh may project siya na nasimulan at na-promote na prior pandemic. Tapos say niya, ‘di pa siya ready magshooting. Ayun pala lilipat. AAAARTE!!! Naghihirap ba siya? Eh may big farm nga. Kaloka siya!!!” Salud wrote on his Twitter account.

Del Prado can’t help but lash out for his friend as he posted a photo stating the phrase, “Loyalty is a two-way street. If you’re asking it from me, make sure I’m getting it from you.”

In his initial caption, he stated that he reposted the photo for those who can’t understand how loyalty works.

“Bago niyo nga pala sabihan na hindi marunong tumanaw ng utang na loob yung tao, make sure na may utang na loob na kailangan tanawin,” Del Prado wrote.

Without mentioning her name, he pointed out that Alonzo’s career was not handed to her, but she made her way to where she is not by working hard. Besides, the network also earned a lot from her works.

He asked people to stop the “guilt trip bullsh*t” towards those who decided to leave and transfer networks as they, too, also need to work for those who rely on them.

A few hours after he addressed Alonzo’s critics, he added another message aimed at a certain director. He asked how the mentioned farm related to the network transfer and if the latter gave it to Alonzo.

“Pinagpuyatan, pinaghirapan at pinag-ipunan niya yun. Kung manunumbat make sure may karapatan manumbat. Kala mo naman malaki naitulong mo sa career niya.”

Prior to this, Salud and several other Kapamilya employees aired out their disappointment towards Alonzo’s sudden transfer to GMA Network.

The actress, on the other hand, expressed that she’s happy about her transfer and said that she did it at the right time. During her contract signing with the Kapuso network, Alonzo also explained her side and said that she had a mutual agreement with ABS-CBN to cancel the show.

“I was doing a soap for them. But then nagkar’on ng pandemic. And alam naman natin na maraming pagbabago. So nagkaroon rin ng pagbabago sa story. And we came to a decision na hindi na lang matutuloy yung soap.”
