James Deakin posted about the ongoing controversy behind Jover Laurio and how she was paid to boost her anti-administration posts.
He recalled last year when he was in the center of a “heavily funded troll attack” that posted things against him without any proof. But he decided to remain quiet.
And a year after, “the truth comes out,” he said. He claimed that the attacks against him were sponsored as well as the reactions.
Deakin then shaded Lurio saying that she has finally been exposed of being a “shill” and a “fraud”.
“A garden variety troll that is so hungry for fame and recognition that she hasn’t yet figured out that she is also being used by her high profile backers. Poor girl. She just wanted to fit in. And she did. For so long as she was doing their dirty work, of course.”
The journalist then questioned the main stream media’s lack of coverage regarding the controversy now that there’s “hard evidence, receipts, and a confession.”
The confession that he was pertaining to is Kris Aquino‘s comment wherein she admitted of giving funds to her former financial manager, Nicko Falcis, to boost certain social media campaigns.
I always knew I was the subject of a heavily funded troll attack back in Jan of 2018, but without hard proof, I just…
“THIS, I would think, is ACTUAL news. Right? Or maybe I need to boost it first for it to qualify?” he wrote at he end.
In this era, in this generation, gender roles have been put into a really tough test. Fortunately, it has become dormant. Women doing men chores, and men doing feminine stuff. A bad thing? I guess not.
Gone are the days when laundry is just a thing for women. Well, huge thanks to Ariel, they broke the stigma by the progressive #JuanWash campaign. “That backwards thinking will soon be a thing of the past,” as the Ariel family promoted the movement.
Recognizing that chores can be done by anyone, Ariel rolled out the #JuanWash campaign which is targeted towards men. Its goal is straightforward and goes right into the heart of the matter – to get men to do their share of laundry duties, one wash at a time.
For Ariel men, this goes beyond simply doing the laundry, as it also shows their support to their wives, and hones their children into understanding the equal role of men and women in doing the household chores.
Being the first detergent brand to encourage men in doing their fair share of household chores, Ariel assembled several celebrity #JuanWash ambassadors. Among them is professional basketball player JC Intal, supported by his wife Bianca Gonzalez-Intal, as well as actor John Prats, supported by his wife Isabel Oli-Prats.
Also present are some local personalities like Kean Cipriano, James Deakin, Ali Khatibi, Marco Alcaraz, Sam Ajdani, and Anton Del Rosario. These Juan Washers use Ariel Power Gel which makes superior cleaning effortless so they can easily help out at home.
#JuanWash campaign not only celebrated those men who have done their part of laundry duties, but also dedicated Fridays as #JuanWash days. Considering that most Filipino households do their laundry twice a week, getting men to do the laundry once a week means doing their equal share of the load.
By getting men to do the laundry at least once a week, Ariel hopes to transform them into laundry experts with the help from Ariel Power Gel that’s especially formulated for better stain removal with just one wash.
As a token of gratitude, our dashing Juans dedicate a unique promotion for other men who would be availing of select services from various Metropole Laundromat branches. Every time men commit to the cause in this way, they’ll earn points for freebies granted by Ariel and Metropole as a gift to the efforts shared in supporting #JuanWash Fridays.

MANILA, Philippines. Multimedia motoring journalist James Deakin has shared an alarming story about a young female beggar roaming the intersection of CP Garcia and Katipunan in front of UP Town Center.
The disturbing incident experienced by an unnamed motorist was detailed through Deakin’s lengthy Facebook post which has gone viral amassing almost 10,000 shares. Based on the motorist’s account, a girl approximately 12 to 13 years old approached her car and mumbled something. In response, the motorist simply tapped her window and smiled at the girl. After hearing a loud thud on her window, the motorist was surprised to see that the girl, who was now holding a rock, was threatening to break her car window. The fearless girl even managed to spew curse words at her during the incident.
The motorist tried to look for police in the area but failed to find any. The driver of the car behind her vehicle even honked and blinked the lights because he could see what was happening. She was only able to drive the young girl away after opening her car’s door and screaming at the kid. The motorist finally had the opportunity to escape the dangerous situation after the traffic light turned green.
Moreover, the motorist pointed out that she also noticed other kids, even as young as five years old, doing the same thing.
A Facebook post by writer James Deakin revealed that the driver of a white CX5 allegedly killed a man who accidentally scraped the former’s car at Frontera Verde Ortigas Ave. on Tuesday, September 15 at around 10 pm.
According to Deakin, the infuriated driver decided to teach the man identified as Delio Bathan a lesson by savagely beating him using a steel pipe (as mentioned by the writer in the comments section of the post). Unfortunately, Bathan sustained severe head trauma and died after the savage beating.
Bathan, a loving husband and a father of three, was supposed to walk his daughter down the aisle in a few months. Sadly, this won’t be possible because of the “trivial, superficial, parking scrape” which Bathan accidentally caused while he was backing out his car.
Several eyewitnesses were able to note down the driver’s conduction sticker and Bathan’s family was able to get the name and address of the registered owner. Moreover, the family was able to secure a hold departure order against the registered owner.
Deakin decided to withhold the information as he is considering the possibility that the registered owner may not be the one driving the car at the time of the incident.
The post has gone viral amassing more than 7,000 likes and more than 4,000 shares on Facebook.
