Young beggar threatens to break motorist’s car window

MANILA, Philippines. Multimedia motoring journalist James Deakin has shared an alarming story about a young female beggar roaming the intersection of CP Garcia and Katipunan in front of UP Town Center.

The disturbing incident experienced by an unnamed motorist was detailed through Deakin’s lengthy Facebook post which has gone viral amassing almost 10,000 shares. Based on the motorist’s account, a girl approximately 12 to 13 years old approached her car and mumbled something. In response, the motorist simply tapped her window and smiled at the girl. After hearing a loud thud on her window, the motorist was surprised to see that the girl, who was now holding a rock, was threatening to break her car window. The fearless girl even managed to spew curse words at her during the incident.

The motorist tried to look for police in the area but failed to find any. The driver of the car behind her vehicle even honked and blinked the lights because he could see what was happening. She was only able to drive the young girl away after opening her car’s door and screaming at the kid. The motorist finally had the opportunity to escape the dangerous situation after the traffic light turned green.

Moreover, the motorist pointed out that she also noticed other kids, even as young as five years old, doing the same thing.
