Apollo Quiboloy’s name surfaces in legal battle involving Vice Ganda and Ion Perez

It all started in November 2019 when Vice Ganda jokingly challenged Quiboloy to “stop” the long-running ABS-CBN series ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ and address the notorious traffic issues on EDSA.

In an unexpected turn of events, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s name has been inadvertently linked to a legal case involving Filipino celebrities Vice Ganda and Ion Perez.

During the ‘Cristy Ferminute’ show, host Cristy Fermin brought up the possibility that netizens might speculate on Quiboloy’s involvement in the lawsuit against Vice and Ion.

This speculation arises from past conflicts involving the celebrities and their outspoken critics, including Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile. Notably, these critics, including Enrile, have television programs on Sonshine Media International Network (SMNI), which is owned by Quiboloy.

This unexpected connection between Quiboloy and the legal case has garnered attention, especially given the history of conflicts and exchanges between Vice Ganda and Quiboloy. “Siguro kaya idinudugtong na maaaring may kinalaman si Pastor Quiboloy dito sa demanda… hindi maiaalis ‘yun eh, mag-iisip ang mga kababayan natin.”

It all started in November 2019 when Vice Ganda jokingly challenged Quiboloy to “stop” the long-running ABS-CBN series ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ and address the notorious traffic issues on EDSA.

This challenge came after Quiboloy claimed that he had personally “stopped” a magnitude 6.6 earthquake in Mindanao.

Quiboloy, known as the “Appointed Son of God” in his religious group, responded to Vice Ganda’s challenge by accepting it with a cryptic statement: “The challenge is accepted, but I won’t say anything; I’ll just wait.”

It remains to be seen whether Quiboloy’s connection to the legal case will have any significant impact on the ongoing legal proceedings involving Vice Ganda and Ion Perez.
