‘It’s Showtime’ host Vice Ganda praised a contestant who promised to donate to Leni Robredo’s ‘Angat Buhay Foundation’.
During the May 15 episode, Vice asked a female contestant what she’d do with P41,000.
Instead of revealing her plans to the audience, the contestant whispered them to Vice Ganda.
“Bakit mo ikakahiya yan?” the TV host asked.
The contestant then spoke on the mic saying, “Magsheshare ako sa Angat Buhay.”
“Marami kayang natulungan yan Angat Buhay. Bongga yan,” Vice Ganda reacted.

Co-host Vhong Navarro also praised the contestant’s plan of sharing to ‘Angat Buhay’.
Former Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo announced that the ‘Angat Buhay NGO’ will focus on four areas, namely health, education, disaster response, and community engagement.
The NGO’s name will be Angat Pinas Inc. since Angat Buhay has already been registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
She also emphasized that the organization would address food security, nutrition, and healthcare issues.
Robredo further stated that hunger and illness are the biggest challenges faced by marginalized communities, and stunting is a significant problem.
