Netizens remind Bongbong Marcos that he was defeated in 2016 and not cheated

The public knows Marcos wasn’t cheated and that Robredo beat him fair and square

Presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos made people laugh when he urged the public to “protect” their decision in this year’s polls.

In a video, he said people should use their power to vote on May 9.

Marcos perpetuated the lie that he was cheated in the 2016 elections when he ran for the vice presidency. His protests against Vice President Leni Robredo were all dismissed “for lack of merit” by the Supreme Court which convened as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET).

Robredo’s lead over Marcos only increased after multiple recounts.

Gayunman, kung iba ang inyong napupusuan ay hiling ko po rin sa inyo na sama-sama tayong pumunta sa ating mga presinto at bumoto,” Marcos further said in his video.

He once again called for unity, his campaign slogan.

Despite his camp’s questionable campaign strategies, the dictator’s son hasn’t lost a single presidential survey ever since declaring for the presidency. Numbers say he is favored to be the next president but kakampinks are doing everything they can so that the nightmare doesn’t get realized.
