VP Leni Robredo’s daughter praised by netizens and Harry Roque for becoming a licensed doctor

Malacañang congratulated Tricia as well, along with the thousands who also passed the PLE.

Vice President Leni Robredo couldn’t hide her excitement after her daughter Janine Patricia Robredo, nicknamed Tricia, passed the licensure examinations for doctors in November.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 3,538 out of 4,704 (75.21%) passed the exams.

Tricia has a dual degree in Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration from the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health.

“Doctor na si Tricia!!!” Robredo said in a Facebook post containing pictures of herself with her daughters and Tricia’s name in the list of PLE passers.

Becoming a physician is definitely something special. Netizens praised Tricia for reaching an incredible milestone.

Malacañang congratulated Tricia as well, along with the thousands who also passed the PLE.

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque praised Tricia, saying he hopes his own children would become physicians one day.

“Congratulations po sa lahat ng bagong doctor! Congratulations po sa anak ni VP Robredo! Sana ang mga anak ko rin ay mag-graduate din at maging doctor din,” Roque said on Thursday during a press briefing in Quezon.

Roque said that the country is depending on those who passed the exams as they will be a huge help while the country waits for a solution to the worldwide pandemic.

“Sa panahon ng pandemya, talagang kayo po ang mga bagong bayani at inaasahan po natin na dadagsa po ang magbibigay ng tulong medical sa ating bayan habang wala pa pong solusyon sa pandemya,” he said.
