‘Ano kami mga kaluluwa?’ ABS-CBN and TV5 reporters rant about ‘self-proclaimed’ exclusive reports

News reporters Jeck Batallones, Raffy Santos, Jervis Manahan of ABS-CBN News and Laila Pangilinan of News 5, threw tirades against fellow reporters who claim “exclusiveness” of their report.

On Twitter, Jeck Batallones questioned a news report which claimed to be exclusive even though all the news teams were present.

Laila Pangilinan also shared her experience with this certain news team who claimed the exclusiveness of a report even though that news had already been aired by Laila’s team.

EXCLUSIVE daw nila.”

She also shared about a time when this news team bribed a subject so that the latter won’t engage in any other interviews from other networks.

“May isa pang nangyari, sinuhulan niya ang subject na wag painterview kahit saang network! EXCLUSIVE! Wow! Aminin mo my friend, offcam magkakaibigan tayo pero sadyang may ilang… EXCLUSIVE eh.”

Jeck then replied saying that one time they planned a ‘reverse exclusive’ as revenge against a certain reporter.

Raffy Santos also described this kind of reporters as ‘extraordinary’ which was replied humorously by Jeck saying, that the exclusiveness lies upon the ‘camera angle’.

Jervis Manahan also pushed Jeck to name the targetted reporter.

“Da who? pangalanan na po yan! hahaha”
