Mocha Uson a ‘liability’ as millions want her to resign and get arrested for violating ECQ guidelines

After violating ECQ protocols by gathering OFWs in Batangas City, Mocha Uson was slammed by Kapuso screenwriter Suzette Severo Doctolero.

A video shows Uson talking to the OFWs who are clearly not observing social distancing as they are too close to one another.

“Oy Mocha! Social distancing nga at no mass gathering!”

“May napatay nang sundalo, may nahampas na bata, may foreigner nang hinuli, tapos ano ito? Pag public official pwede sumuway sa patakaran?”

“Panira talaga. Liability itong babaing ito sa Duterte govt kaysa asset.”

Uson committed a major mistake by holding a mass gathering in violation of ECQ rules. Doctolero couldn’t help but call Uson a ‘liability’ to the current administration.

Many are now advocating for the resignation of the deputy administrator of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration. In addition, millions want her arrested for flouting simple guidelines.

Mass gatherings are seen as huge violations.

According to the IATF mass gatherings are prohibitedin this time of quarantine. Mocha Uson cannot follow simple regulations. I believe the government will implement the law without fear or favor.👊👊👊

The OWWA went on Facebook the same day Uson posted photos of the event, and uploaded guidelines for OFWs who have been repatriated saying these people should undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine.

It is very ironic for Uson to have done this given that she called for Sen. Koko Pimentel to resign following his violation of government-instituted quarantine protocols. Pimentel was considered a PUI but broke his 14-day mandatory quarantine when he accompanied his pregnant wife to the hospital.

Uson has proven to be a disgrace to the current administration countless times. She was appointed Assistant Secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) by President Duterte himself in 2017 but resigned after more than a year.

Several months before her resignation from the position, 9 PCOO officials appealed to have her removed, begging President Duterte to just do it. Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea received a letter asking for Uson’s immediate removal from the PCOO.

Uson’s Pepederalismo video was made in bad taste, something which made Medialdea understand why her removal was preferred by her colleagues.

Philippine Information Agency Chief Harold Clavite said, “As a public servant and being part of the PCOO family, I take great offense in Ms. Uson’s actions, which continuously damage the rectitude of my communication and public information agenda,”

Uson resigned on October 3, 2018, but the public speculated she got fired by Malacañang for her many errors.

It seems her firing was inevitable, as has defied orders from her ‘bosses’ during her beef with actress Kris Aquino, where Uson posted a video of the late Ninoy Aquino kissing two women inside an airplane in response to the criticisms hurled at President Duterte when he kissed an OFW which many saw as an act of misogyny and sexual harassment.

Kris was fed up and responded with a live rant. Uson responded saying “Ito po ang aking response sa live video ni Miss Kris Aquino. This is not about Kris Aquino. Tungkol ito sa paglagay ng malisya sa isang halik. Itinumbas lang sa gawain ng ibang lider tulad ng tatay niya. Miss Aquino, this is not about you.”

In a press conference, Sen. Bong Go said Uson promised him and President Duterte that she would apologize to Kris for uploading the said video. Instead of doing what Go said she would, Uson went on Facebook and said she will not apologize for telling the truth.

“With all due respect to everyone involved, I decline to apologize for the truth.”

In September 2019, the Filipino people were surprised that Duterte appointed Uson the Deputy Executive Director of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA). The public then started saying that “This government is good at recycling garbage.”

Uson is mostly known for spreading fake news through her eponymous blog, prompting the public to crown her the “Queen of Fake News”.
