Victims of the Taal Volcano eruption have been finding ways to survive every day. Some are trying to recover their properties and livestock.

Some are waiting for the relief goods and other donations. Some have resorted to whatever they have at a very low price just to have some money to buy their food.

This was what a netizen named Ivan Almanzor of Agoncillo, Batangas was trying to do when he posted on Facebook that he was selling his DSLR to have some money to buy their food.

With the help of Facebook page DSLR Market Philippines, netizens responded to him. Instead of buying the camera, they wanted to donate some cash so he wouldn’t need to sell it.

They asked for his money account details and sent money to him instead.

He was so grateful to all who send their help as he never expected that there were still people who are willing to help people like him.
