- Lolit Solis said that the people should be contented with the country’s current state as Filipinos are considered luckier than what other nations are going through.
- She added that if only drugs would disappear, then it would be more peaceful.
In a recent Instagram post, talent manager Lolit Solis said that the Philippines’ only key left to obtain peace is for drugs to disappear.
She said that when compared to the recent migrant crisis, Filipinos are actually luckier and people will be happier that our situation is better than theirs.
“Kung ikukumpara mo Salve iyon bayan natin sa mga nangyayari ngayon sa ibang bansa, parang matutuwa ka pa na mas maganda ang katayuan natin kaysa sa iba.”
Solis said that upon hearing the news of those fleeing their respective countries to migrate, the strengthened security at the Mexico border, and the refugees who drown themselves in the ocean to escape, makes one feel lucky about the current situation of the Philippines. She then said that others just don’t know how to be contented.
“Ang dami pa rin natin dapat ipagpasalamat, hindi nga ganun kaganda ang ibang pangyayari, pero mas maganda pa rin ang kinalalagyan natin. Hindi nga lang makontento ang marami, kahit ano complaint pa rin ang ginagawa but when you see the sad situation of the others, then makikita mo na nasa much better situation tayo. “
She then ended her post saying that if drugs would only disappear, then the country would be at peace.
“Na mahal pa rin tayo ni God, na siguro mas matindi ang prayers natin kaya lang siyempre meron pa rin mga tao na sagad ang kasamaan kaya may mga nasasaktan, mawala lang ang drugs sure ako tatahimik na tayo. Kaya nga we should be thankful and pray more.”
Lolit Solis is a known supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte.
