Rendon Labador forgives Vice Ganda after apology, calls for public apology

Rendon Labador also personally apologized to the celebrities he had previously criticized, including the well-known figure Michael V. and Vice Ganda.

Controversial content creator Rendon Labador has extended forgiveness to popular comedian Vice Ganda, while also urging him to issue a public apology.

This move comes after Rendon Labador’s recent apology and explanation for his previous criticisms of celebrities.

Rendon Labador made his sentiments clear through an Instagram story, where he expressed his willingness to forgive Vice Ganda. In a conciliatory tone, he used the hashtag #LabLabLabador and stated, “Pinapatawad ko na si Vice Ganda sa mga nagawa niya, lab lab muna tayong lahat.”

Despite extending forgiveness, Rendon Labador continued to emphasize the importance of a public apology from Vice Ganda. He made a heartfelt plea, saying, “Huwag mo na lang uulitin at sana mag-public apology ka na. Ako ay nakiki-usap sayo, para sa taumbayan.. para sa kabataan.”

Just one day prior, Rendon Labador had issued a formal apology during a vlog interview conducted by Ogie Diaz. During this interview, he provided insight into his motivations for critiquing celebrities, stressing his belief that such criticism could contribute to the betterment of the Philippines.

Rendon Labador also personally apologized to the celebrities he had previously criticized, including the well-known figure Michael V. and Vice Ganda. He emphasized that his criticisms were not driven by malicious intentions.

“I’m apologizing. I’m trying to be perfect. Ngayon naman nakikinig na ako. Marami akong opportunities. Marami naman akong nasaktan din naman talaga. Iyon din naman yung regret ko talaga. I’m trying to be better,” Rendon Labador expressed.

He further stated, “So kung nasaktan ko man kayo, kay Vice, Ion, lahat ng artista, Michael V. I’m apologizing. Wala akong masamang intensyon sa inyo, Hindi ko kayo dini-discredit. I’m thankful sa mga nagawa ninyo. Ang gusto ko lang matulungan, magising. Sana makasama ko kayo sa pagbago ng Pilipinas.”

This recent turn of events stems from Rendon Labador’s public disapproval of a specific scene on the popular television show ‘It’s Showtime,’ where Vice Ganda and Ion Perez were seen engaging in an act involving cake icing and their fingers.
