LGBTQIA+ peeps cry foul over Awra Briguela CCTV footage

According to the Makati police report, based on the complainant’s statement, Briguela became aggressive when the complainant refused to take off his pants.

The LGBTQ+ community was triggered by the CCTV footage involving teen actor Awra Briguela.

Xian Gaza released a CCTV footage taken at ‘The Bolthole Bar’ where Briguela and her friends went. This was presented as evidence to the Makati Police.

According to the Makati police report, based on the complainant’s statement, Briguela became aggressive when the complainant refused to take off his pants.

Briguela was charged with physical injuries, alarm and scandal, disobedience to authority, and direct assault.

One of the comedienne’s friends said that the woman she allegedly defended in the video cannot be seen because she had already gone home.

In the video Gaza released, it can be seen and heard that Briguela and her friends were teasing the complainant to take off his clothes.

It is evident in the footage that both groups were having a good time.

In the first video that went viral, the brawl between a group of men and Briguela’s group outside the Bolthole bar can be seen.

Brigiuela was caught in the act being restrained by his companions while attempting to approach the fighting friends.

From another angle, one of her companions was knocked down by a punch from the men.

The police quickly arrived to break up the fight.

The video that spread online also showed the scene where Briguela was being restrained by the police, struggling as she was put inside the police vehicle.

The LGBTQ+ community was not too thrilled by the footage and the fact that people were mocking Briguela for being gay.

Based on the interview of the Makati Police with GMA News, they did not receive any complaint from Briguela’s group alleging harassment by the men.

According to Makati Chief of Police Col.

If may pumunta man dito at mag-complain then we will assist immediately,” he added.
