Netizens slammed actress Eula Valdez after it was revealed that she’s playing the character of Sen. Imee Marcos in Darryl Yap’s upcoming movie ‘Martyr or Murderer’ (MoM).
On Thursday, the official trailer for the movie was released.
The trailer garnered millions of views across social media platforms. However, people who identify as ‘Kakampinks’ were severely disappointed after seeing Valdez appear in it.

Some have called the actress an “enabler” of corrupt people in the country.

Others said that Valdez shares facial similarities with former vice president Leni Robredo, which makes her casting more interesting.

Valdez’s casting was without a doubt polarizing. Most ‘Kakampinks’ admitted that they admired Valdez before they saw her in the trailer.
Some have said that the actress was also a ‘Kakampink’ while others argued that she was a supporter of former president Rodrigo Duterte.
So… Eula Valdez, who openly supported Leni Robredo last year, is part of Martyr or Murderer as the present-day Imee Marcos. This is interesting…
