Kris Bernal says being a “kakampink” was one of the major highlights of her 2022

Actress Kris Bernal said that being a “Kakampink” was one of the biggest highlights of her 2022.

Aside from her role as the antagonist in the GMA Network series ‘Article 247’ and her other projects and personal endeavors, Bernal is known for her involvement as a “Kakampink” and a volunteer host at one of the campaign rallies for the Leni-Kiko tandem during the campaign season. She said being part of the Pink movement was special since it was her first time voting.

“As volunteer/host in the campaign rally of #LeniRobredo in Zamboanga Del Norte. What an incredible privilege and experience. #KulayRosasAngBukas,” she wrote on Instagram

Bernal’s family also supported the Pink movement.

This Christmas, actress Kris Bernal threw a party for around 2,000 rescued dogs and cats at MBY Pet Rescue and Sanctuary. She transformed into “KRISanta” for the occasion and held a festive celebration for abandoned pets at the sanctuary.

She is currently married to Perry Choi and the couple tied the knot in September 2021, four years after they made their relationship public.
