Maynilad responds to Ryza Cenon’s P120,000 water bill

Maynilad Water Services, Inc responded to the post, saying that a “Zone personnel” will handle the matter

Ryza Cenon was more than surprised to see her water bill amounting to P120,000 despite struggling with water service problems.

In a Sept 16 Facebook post, Cenon shared photos of her water bills from last month and the most recent one.

Her bill for the month of August amounted to P1,101.02, but this month was over P120,000.

Ano kami, may carwash? 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. nawawala na ng water [sa amin tapos] ang hina-hina ng tubig namin from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m,” she wrote. “So paki-explain [Maynilad Water Services, Inc.], from 1,101.02 last month ngayon 120k?

Maynilad Water Services, Inc responded to the post, saying that a “Zone personnel” would handle the matter.

Hi Ryza. Salamat sa inyong pakikipag-ugnayan sa amin upang macheck ang inyong account. Patuloy na makikipag-coordinate ang aming Zone personnel sa inyo ukol dito,” it commented.

Netizens can relate to Cenon’s situation as a number of them also faced water interruptions but were given a higher bill.

Cenon stars in “Mga Kwentong Epik: Maria Makiling” which is based on a Filipino graphic novel. It started airing on Netflix on Sept 16.

The story follows a young woman who discovers she’s the goddess Maria Makiling. Cenon voices the character while Batibot‘s Bodjie Pascua narrates the show.
