Daughter of tricycle driver calls out vlogger Buknoy Glamurr: ‘Marami ka pa dapat matutunan’

Nomeriano was also able to pay J’s treatment for her bone tumor. J then went after Buknoy saying that the vlogger has much to learn.

Vlogger Buknoy Glamurr’s status as a social media influencer isn’t looking too good after he demeaned tricycle drivers.

“Ang gusto ko talagang sabihin sa inyo is ‘wag na ‘wag kayong sumukong mangarap. ‘Wag na ‘wag kayong sumuko na tuparin ‘yung mga pangarap ninyo kasi kung hindi kayo magsusumikap sa buhay, walang wala kayong mararating tulad nito,” Buknoy said as he showed his followers a tricycle passing by during his live motivational video.

His initial apology wasn’t very sincere but changed his tone in his next one after realizing the significant backlash he received for his remarks.

His comments prompted people to share how working as a tricycle driver is an honorable occupation.

Netizen J Capacio shared the story of her father, Nomeriano Capacio, who is a tricycle driver.

J is the youngest among her siblings and Nomeriano was able to send all his children to college just by driving every single day.

“Tatlo din pala kaming pinagtapos nya ng kolehiyo. Halos di na yan umuwi dati kakapasada,” J wrote, remembering how her father worked so hard that he would only go home to sleep.

Nomeriano was also able to pay J’s treatment for her bone tumor. J then went after Buknoy saying that the vlogger has much to learn.

“Hindi mo alam ang nasa likod ng araw araw nilang pagbibilad sa init at alikabok ng lansangan. May mga pangarap silang tinutupad, buknoy. Mag aral ka pa, marami ka pa dapat matutunan.

“Gabayan mo din tong si buknoy tay, nawa’y tumuwid na ang isip nya,” she said, ending the post.

Buknoy, on the other hand, said that he has been having a hard time sleeping lately due to the backlash he’s been receiving. He was invited by Star Image after he tried to file a case against fellow social media influencer Makagago.

Makagago was unaware that Buknoy was only fifteen years old when he bashed him on YouTube. The two met with Star Image and settled their issues, as seen in Makagago’s recent video which gained over 3 million views in 24 hours.
