Netizen raises alarm over knife-wielding attackers in Manila

“Guys!! Mag-iingat kayo please lang!! Nangyari na sa best friend ko.”

A netizen recently warned the public about knife-wielding men in Tondo, Manila.

A certain Win Velasco tweeted on November 29 that several men attacked and slashed the body of her friend along Cavite Street in Tondo after she refused to give them her contact number.

Win posted photos of her friend’s bloodied body with the caption, “Guys!!

Cavite St. Tondo Manila,” she added.

According to Win, the incident happened at a waiting shed in front of the Lakandula High School.

Win said these men may have done it out of “trip” or they could be members of a syndicate.

Win hoped that the incident was captured on video.

“Sana may CCTV don!!” she wrote in another tweet.

Win stressed that she shared the photos of her friend to raise awareness and not for any other reason.

Win’s post has got a lot of netizens worried.

A netizen wrote: “Need pa talaga ng police visibility sa buong maynila, curfew is good pero pulpol kasi mga barangay official kaya walang discipline sa lugar, crack down all tambay at unemployed diyan para may profileling.”

Another one said: “Dyan din kami nakatira dati, hindi talaga safe sa lugar na yan. Keep safe.

Meanwhile, Win said her friend is now out of danger and is already resting.
