Woman praises GrabFood driver even after he messed up her order, inspires netizens

  • Shy Atienza knew the Grab driver couldn’t do anything and it wasn’t entirely his fault
  • Praises the Grab driver for being a hardworking individual

Netizen Shy Atienza shared an inspiring story about making mistakes which received praise on social media.

Her post has 27k likes and over 8k shares.

Atienza ordered two milk teas through Grab Express.

It was around 10 pm when she put in her order. All the sudden she received a text from the driver, Celso Bernabe saying that he might come a little late because the rain was getting heavy.

Bernabe then told her that he slipped and messed up her milk tea. Although frustrating, Atienza was just happy that he did not get hurt.

It almost took an hour for Bernabe to get to her condo, but Atienza remained calm and wasn’t even the slightest bit angry. Bernabe felt embarrassed for what happened but Atienza assessed the situation quickly.

Atienza proceeded to pay Bernabe because she knew that he does not make much. She even gave him a jacket to warm himself after going through all that.

Atienza understood that it wasn’t entirely Bernabe’s fault since he couldn’t really control certain circumstances.

Atienza urged people to not get mad right away when they do not get what they want. People need to learn how to understand situations and be more patient with others.

She also says that customers shouldn’t cancel their orders because at the end of the day, Grab drivers use their money to buy them what they want. Cancelling will only hurt the drivers’ pockets.

“‘Wag magcancel lalo pag ganitong order kasi sila ang kawawa at magbabayad nyan!❤️ Dahil yung simpleng tulong na magawa mo malaking bagay ang ibabalik nya sa’yo.”

Atienza also praised Bernabe as a hardworking individual that works regardless of the weather. She still gave him a five star rating even after his clumsiness.

“Saludo ako sau kuya Celso Bernabe daw name nya! Kahit umulan o umaraw tuloy ang trabho mo!Godbless you Kuya! More blessings sa pamilya mo! Nakakatouch din message mo po!
I still give you 5 star kuya kasi pinilit mong makarating ng maayos sa bahay.”

Her story touched netizens.

“Sana all kagaya nyo ma’am hindi kasi talaga madali trabaho nila.”

“GBU ma’am, salute to your kindness and understanding…more blessings to you po!”
