Millennials would have never guessed that one of the big three hosts of ‘Eat Bulaga’ has a very interesting past. Joey De Leon, a member of the comedy trio Tito, Vic, and Joey, was once a talent of ABS-CBN.

Posted on his Instagram account was a throwback photo of his younger self rocking the ABS-CBN logo at that time.

Joey de Leon posted a 1968 photo of him wearing a cap bearing the logo of ABS-CBN.

He wrote in the caption: “DOS were the days! Napansin nyo ba logo sa cap ko? 1968 pa ‘yan!”

The comedian-TV host started out his showbiz career as a radio disc jockey and announcer. He worked for 12 radio stations, including all seven radio stations owned by the ABS-CBN Corporation, as well as other broadcasters like KBS.

From disc jockey to comedy trio, to co-hosting the longest running noontime show in the Philippines, Joey De Leon is a true veteran in showbusiness.
