Aika Robredo chides Duterte administration’s move revoking Sen. Trillanes’ amnesty

  • Aika Robredo shades the Duterte administration regarding Senator Trillanes’ pardon
  • Supporters of the President slam her on Twitter

Aika RobedoVice President Leni Robredo‘s eldest daughter, chided the reasons behind President Duterte’s move to rescind the amnesty granted to Senator Antonio Trillanes IV by former President Noynoy Aquino

In her tweet, Aika re-posted a message that she claims to have seen on Facebook. It seems to be questioning if the government would consider a dead person alive if his death certificate has gone missing.

“Seen in my Facebook feed this morning: “Kapag nawala ba ‘yung death certificate sa Civil Registrar, ibig ba sabihin buhay ka pa?” Mismo. Magandang umaga.”

The tweet earned thousands of responses on Twitter. Most of them, criticisms from supporters of the President.

@MarkAnthonyDCL1 tweeted Aika a sarcastic response.

Nawala? Para bang balota na binasa? Ganyan siguro talaga sa CamSur, nawawala ang mga dokumento sa Civil Registry. Malamang kaya nawala ang death certificate sinadya para makaboto…

Another netizen called her “shallow” and “stupid”.

Napakababaw ng logic mo iha. Mana ka rin sa ina mong napaka tanga at sagad sa kabobohan. #FakeVP

@MontyFerandez3 claimed that their votes went missing and asked Aika if that means that they voted for her mother.

Boto nga namin nawala so it means Nanay mo binoto namin? wow magic??? kahit mag photo ops pa kyo lagi nagdadasal di mababago ang katotohanan na Nagnakaw kayo ng boto. 😂

@Yoyamomi hoped for the late Jesse Robredo‘s death certificate to go missing.

Sana nga iwala na rin nila death cert ng dad mo para buhay at kasama pa natin sya 😊

@aileenasami questioned Aika’s education in Harvard

Is that what they teach in Harvard? 25% logic?🤣

Another netizen connected the tweet to the alleged cheating during the elections.

Kapag ba may nagreklamo sa PET tungkol sa resulta ng eleksyon, ibig ba sabihin mayroong pandaraya na nangyari?

Antonio Vasquez also said that even if the government has Trillanes’ amnesty records, it doesn’t mean that he’s already qualified to receive amnesty.

Yun lang ba ang basehan dun?! Mag isip ka naman! Kaya nga hinahanapan ng kopya si Trillanes! Isa pa, wala siyang admission of guilt which is a requisite for amnesty! Sayang ka iha!

Robredo has yet to respond to the criticisms against her and her mother.
