Two Guys Invented a New Trend on Messenger and it’s Cracking up the Netizens!

  • Two men named Gavin Capinpin and Lui Duque invented their own trend on a social networking site and called it ‘Messenger Duet’
  • Also, the two dared other ‘besties’ out there to try to do better than what they did.

Boredom is one of the reasons why people are able to invent something on social media.

Most of the time, because people don’t have anything to do, they simply resort to consuming their energy through whatever activity they can think of. Sometimes, it is useful and sometimes it is not. But, there are also instances when boredom results into something hilarious.

A pair of friends named Gavin Capinpin and Lui Duque created a new trend in the internet and called it “Messenger Duet”. The objective of the game is simple: the players just need to re-enact the song while singing the next lyrics.

However, if the player happens to don’t know the next lyrics, he/she loses!

Capinpin and Duque started with Itchyworms’ hit song entitled “Beer”.

Capinpin won the first round, so they switched to the next song: “Kabet” by Ga**ng Rapper.

Duque got distracted after seeing that Capinpin took their game seriously by having someone to wrap a towel on his neck which literally means that he really can’t breathe.

Again, Capinpin got another point! For their last song, they chose “Hanggang Kailan” by Orange and Lemons.

The two took their game to a higher challenge by improvising props and by even going out of the house just to emphasize the lyrics, ‘at sa gabi’y hinahanap-hanap kita’.

But the very reason how the two won the internet is their amusing facial expressions in each picture. Indeed hilarious!

Facebook netizens who have seen Capinpin’s post were truly amazed by their hilarious duet. Some of them even suggested that they do it with their own besties.

Seems like Capinpin and Duque just invented a successful trend that everyone would surely enjoy doing!

How about you? Would you like to do this with your own barkada? Or have you done it already? Share your versions in the comment box!
