According to a study conducted by the Edinburgh Sleep Centre, the optimal temperature for a bed to have to offer a good night’s sleep is within the 20 to 24 degrees Celsius range. This is why branches of the Holiday Inn in the UK employ professional bed warmers. They come in decked in a special sleeper onesies and warm up the beds before hotel guests plop down beneath the covers. But in a hot and humid tropical country like the Philippines, we’d probably pay someone to do the opposite!
