‘Kotong Tandem’ on Recto, Manila revealed by a netizen

Netizen Mohammadjain O. posted photos  of a kotong tandem he met on C.M. Recto Avenue in Manila. Mohammadjain was driving along Recto when a traffic enforcer apprehended him for not stopping at a red light. However, Mohammadjain, who was sure he did not make any violations, challenged the enforcer to look into the CCTV camera footage to prove he was not violating traffic rules.

“Sir baka bulag ata kayo kung may cctv kayo please replay para makita mo kaya sir na kanina pa ko dito pinagmamasdan kayo 2 kasi ngsintas ako sapatos ko,,lahat pinapara nyo pati ako nakahinto lang at nakita ko si tatay na pinara nyo at kayo lumapit saken at sabi mo reckless driving ako bobo kaba sir!!! Nakahinto yan ang kaso ko..natawa lang ako”

The enforcer then left and talked to his colleague and to the tricycle driver whom motorists give the bribe to so as not to get caught on CCTV. Mohammadjain also said that he observed the enforcer who has been apprehending other motorists in the area even though they were following traffic rules.

On a final note, Mohammadjain warned the public about the kotong tandem.
