International supermodel Tyra Banks has once again acknowledged Maymay Entrata as she liked an edited photograph of her and the Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 big winner.
A fan made a collage of Banks and Entrata; uploaded it to Instagram under the account of ‘just_love_mayward‘. It showed the two doing the same pose in different scenarios.
It did not stop there as the supermodel liked another edit of the same account, which included more photographs than the previous one.
It was not the first time that Banks has acknowledged Entrata on social media as it can be remembered that she also liked photographs of the Kapamilya star from last year’s Star Magic Ball as well as her catwalk from the Bench fashion show, where the Filipino young star walked alongside her tandem Edward Barber.
Entrata recently took part at the 2018 Arab Fashion Week, walking for Filipino designer Furne One‘s collection.
The fans of young TV star Maymay Entrata were delighted after socialite, personality, and businesswoman Paris Hilton liked a video of the runway on Instagram.
The video showed Furne One‘s Arab Fashion Week 2018 collection.
Hilton also complimented the collection by commenting “gorgeous dresses” at the same video post.
The Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 winner expressed that she has always wanted to be a model. When asked about her preparations for the fashion week, she honestly answered that she focused on her walk more as that’s the thing she needed to improve on.
“Sobrang nag reherse po talaga ako. Tsaka nag practice ako. Lalo na yung pag-lakad ko talaga. Dun talaga ako nag focus.”
Maymay is also thankful for the opportunity.
“Sobrang honored ako. Sobrang thankful ako. Very blessed ako na nandito ako.
“Sino ba naman po ang aayaw jan sa modelling lalo na talagang dream ko na siya dati pa. Sobrang nakakaiyak kanina. Hindi ako makapaniwala na nagawa ko yun. Yung show na yun.”
Hollywood stars such as Katy Perry, Beyonce, Shakira, and Jennifer Lopez have worn the Filipino designer’s creations.
As the longest edition of Pinoy Big Brother commenced, a new Big Winner was named!
Mary Dale “Maymay” Entrata was crowned the newest Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7 at the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan, Laguna on March 5.
The 19-year-old outlasted a total of 30 housemates and bagged the prizes home. After receiving the highest total percentage of text votes, 42.71%, Maymay has now a million pesos in her pocket and a house and lot.
The latest Big Winner will never reach the stardom she is now experiencing if it was not for her fans. She gained huge fanbases after showing the funny and adorable side of her. She stood strong against the challenges and proved that she deserves the love her fans are giving.
This woman was caught busy voting for Maymay and replacing a tremendous amount of sim cards. Packed in a zip lock pockets, Fiona Ponce and her squad gathered a total of 10,000 sim cards just to vote Maymay.
The 25-year-old from Makati said that the majority of the funds of their campaign came from the help of OFWs. They had spent more or less 200,000 pesos for the sim cards alone, excluding their tarpaulins and LED banners.
Ponce is the President and Admin of Maymay Entrata Official on Facebook, it was their collective efforts that enabled them to collect their funds to support Maymay.
When asked what is the reason behind their huge efforts, even though they could receive nothing in return, she said,
We did this out of love. The prizes will really help her and her family. She really deserves it.”
According to Ponce, they also have voting parties located in Bukidnon, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Valenzuela, and their main voting precinct is in Mandaluyong.
When Cory Vidanes announced the Big Winner, the group rejoices and tears of happiness were shed off. They jumped around hugging one another for the success of their campaign.
For them, Maymay really deserves the title and their efforts did not go to waste.

Albay Representative Joey Salceda has called on government agencies Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), and the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) to look into what he says was an “incipient discrimination, sub-conscious racism and bullying” that happened inside the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) house.
In a Facebook post, Salceda asked the agencies to look into an incident inside the PBB house involving the “Badjao Girl” Rita Gaviola who was teased by her fellow teen housemates.
In one episode of PBB, the housemates poked fun at Gaviola’s undergarment, causing the young girl to burst into tears.
Salceda said the three government agencies “should take immediate remedial action on PBB.” He added “PBB should have been structured to prevent its occurrence. Treatment of indigenous peoples is too delicate for a ‘role playing-cum-confession room’ context.”
Here’s the full statement of Rep. Joey Salceda posted on his Facebook account.

“DSWD, NCIP, and MTRCB should take immediate remedial action on PBB. I was preparing to support the Bicolana from Masbate – Kisses – but now my heart breaks for Rita.
PBB must be unequivocal against incipient discrimination, subconscious racism and the bullying it engenders in any contour and complexion, only made grievous by its grand display to a national audience esp to its target segment – the youth whose moral judgment is just forming. It partakes of social discrimination to our indigenous peoples who have suffered enough and long enough from the oppression of our colonizers and from the neglect of the Christian majority. It touches a raw nerve in our national psyche and violates the conscience of a nation who has not addressed the historical injustices to our original inhabitants of these islands.
From the start, PBB should have been structured to prevent its occurrence. Treatment of indigenous peoples is too delicate for a “role playing-cum-confession room” context. It may address the direct participants but what about millions who watch the violation but failed for some reason to watch the episode of correction. And what about the violence is also imposed on the youthful violators who are unjustifiably exposed to ridicule. I call on the DSWD NCIP and MTRCB to take cognizance of this national embarrassment and take the appropriate measures including immediate custody of Rita (13), investigate the circumstances of the other girls and placing them under counseling and cultural sensitivity.
With respect to the program, surely laws (IPRA, VAWC and UN conventions) and regulations may have been transgressed and should be applied accordingly. Redlines of societal norms have surely been crossed. Henceforth, representatives of the DSWD and the MTRCB should be present during the entire season of PBB Teen from the very start (planning) or it should be abandoned entirely.”
Salceda is a known avid follower of the program. Last year, then Governor Salceda also lashed out against PBB when Bicolana Barbie Imperial was evicted from the Pinoy Big Brother house.
