‘Kadenang Ginto’ and ‘The General’s Daughter’ are two teleseryes of ABS-CBN network that had become the favorite of viewers. Netizens get hooked with every episode and some would even post their insights and reactions on social media.

A Facebook user, Victoriano Salanguste Magdaraog, shared photos of a scene from both teleserye. Using those photos, he linked the story of two different teleserye by posting questions to one of the cast.

“Hoy Savanah! Wala ka din kwentang kaibigan no? Bat di mo nalang sabihin kay Daniela na buhay si Robert. Takot ka ba malaman nya na Military Nurse ka? Duhhh”

Netizens loved his post and shared it with their Facebook friends. Now, the post has garnered over 55 thousand shares and 34 thousand reactions.

Viewers of both teleseryes have posted comments by creating their own version of the story.

“Buhay pa si robert, kabit nya si savana anak nila si Rhian na kapatid ni Daniela kaya bff sila pero ang totoo alam ni savana n ampon si daniela at si cassey ang tunay na mondragon. Some even speculated that Kim Molina, who’s playing the role of Savannah, would die in the coming episodes of ‘Kadenang Ginto.’

Most viewers of ‘Kadenang Ginto’ have claimed the “Albert Martinez” as Roberto is alive because Savannah had already met him.

Kim Molina plays the role of Savannah Rosales of ‘Kadenang Ginto’ as the best friend of Daniella (Dimples Romana), the antagonist of the said teleserye. It also happens that she also plays the role of 2nd Lt. Lilybeth Abarquez in ‘The General’s Daughter.’ She is a military nurse who has spoken to Brigadier Gen. Marcial De Leon (Albert Martinez), who went missing as Roberto in ‘Kadenang Ginto.’

“Kadenang Ginto,” a noontime teleserye of ABS-CBN network had been hooking up viewers with their latest revelations. The show is also a major hit online as it consistently garnered millions of views on YouTube and other social media platforms like Twitter.

Because of an intense episode, a netizen sought help from the PNP by posting a message on Twitter.

Because of the unexpected disappearance of Robert (Albert Martinez) due to a helicopter accident, there will be big changes that would happen in the life of Cassie (Francine Diaz) and Romina (Beauty Gonzales). But for Daniela (Dimples Romana), Robert’s loss is a good opportunity to retrieve all their wealth and getting Marga (Andrea Brillates) to the throne as Mondragon’s family princess.

Though Romina is blamed by everybody for Robert loss, she is still not giving up to prove her innocence. And Cassie would tolerate all of Daniela’s cruelty, until they find justice and get Romina out of the jail.

With this scenario, a netizen AC‏ @ItsACsLife tagged the Philippine National Police (PNP) Twitter hotline pleading to help cast members Romina and Cassie of Kadenang Ginto.

The PNP Twitter hotline replied in a decent manner asking what help they could offer and have suggested to refer it to the Women’s desk, which is available in all police stations.

And the netizen laughingly replied that the PNP had entertained such post knowing that Cassie and Romina are just cast members of the noontime show ‘Kadenang Ginto,’ and that the help he was asking wasn’t a real life scenario.

But then, the police explained its reason by telling the netizen that the PNP is ready to help in case a woman is in need of their service.

• The General’s Daughter star Angel Locsin talked about the show’s director, Manny Palo.
• She said that contrary to others saying that he’s a “terror,” she finds him really caring. 

Angel Locsin had nothing but kind words to the director of The General’s Daughter, Manny Palo.

During the press conference of her first ever teleserye under Dreamscape, for her prime time comeback after a few years of hiatus, she shared what’s it like to work with Palo as a director.

“Si Direk Manny Palo kasi is brilliant. Ang swerte namin na nagkaroon kami ng direktor na alam niya kung anong gagawin. Siya kasi yung kaya niya kaming i-control lahat. Kasi kahit anong sabihin namin sa kanya, memorize niya yung script so hindi namin siya maloloko.”

Locsin added that because the director knows what he is doing, they often finish their taping schedules on time.

“Alam niya yung gagawin niyo sa bawat eksena kaya ang bilis bilis din niya mag shoot. Natatapos namin yung schedule namin. Plus ang gaan din niya ka-trabaho.”

The actress then addressed her remark that director Palo is a “terror” on the set, saying that others may only view him that way maybe because he had a bad day or someone did something wrong. However, she thinks that he’s really kind and caring.

“Sabi ng iba terror daw si Direk Manny. Siguro pag may mali ka, ganon. Or siguro, bad day lang si direk pero he’s really nice. Actually ang bait ni direk. At maalaga siya sa mga tao. “

She even admitted that the cast sometimes makes fun of the director whenever he gets angry.

“Minsan pinapagtawanan namin pag nagwawala siya pero part niya na yun eh. Parang hindi pwedeng hindi eh. Boring. Boring yung set. At umpisa palang sinabi niya ‘walang diva sa inyo ha, ako lang ang diva,’ kaya siya lang ang diva ganon. “

On the other hand, Locsin admitted that her character on the series is her most complicated role thus far. She has also praised her co-stars.

“Masasabi ko na I think eto yung pinaka-complex [and] complicated na character na gagawin ko. Mahirap po siya. Actually mga characters po namin, mahirap gawin. Pero fun, kasi yung mga ka-eksena ko po ang gagaling umarte so nakakakuha po ako sa kanila ng emosyon.”

Romina works as a secretary for Robert (Albert) who owns the company. Robert has a mean and conceited daughter, Daniela (Dimples) who has history with Carlos. Romina gets raped by an unknown man before she gets married to Carlos.

Carlos blamed her for her unfortunate fate and used this as an excuse to break up with her. Adding salt to the wound, she gets pregnant as a result of the horrific act. In her moment of despair, she took shelter and refuge in Robert. They eventually fall in love and become lovers.

Their conflict will push Daniela to run away and live on her own. When she gets back, she already has a daughter, Margaret (Andrea Brillantes), and married to Carlos. Since Robert is already the legal child of Romina’s daughter, Cassandra (Francine Diaz), this won’t be easy for Daniela. This deepens their rivalry for the love of Robert and their right as the true heirs as they decide to live under one roof.

Veteran actress Liezl Martinez, the wife of veteran actor Albert Martinez, succumbed to cancer at 6:15 AM on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the Medical City in Pasig City.

Liezl was diagnosed with cancer in 2007 and has been in and out of the hospital for treatment. According to her uncle Cheng Muhlach, she was admitted at the Medical City since Monday because of her Stage 4 cancer but sadly passed away this morning.

The 47-year-old actress’ battle with cancer was not a secret but the family chose to stay out of the limelight and the media circus, not releasing photos of the actress in her possibly emaciated condition.

Two days before her death, celebrity columnist Ogie Diaz released a blind item pertaining to an actress whose impending death is already accepted by her immediate family, including her actor husband, and kids. Her cousins and the rest of her extended family could not yet come to terms with her condition but closely finding they just have to deal with it. Many of those who read the column commented that this actress was surely Liezl.

Sadly, it really was Liezl. The actress is an only child, so her mother finds it difficult to deal with the thought of losing her. However, her long battle with cancer has taken a toll on her body. The blind item revealed how the actress already had a bloated body because many of her major organs have stopped functioning.
