Most of us might think that we are so unlucky, despite having our own jobs, money, and home. Some might also think that they have already been forgotten by the Almighty one and start complaining because of the problems they encounter in life.
But a photo of a young boy from the streets one rainy day made the netizens realize how blessed they are with their lives.
A Facebook user Louie Carabbacan posted a photo of a young boy trembling on a cold rainy day with this caption: “I’m sorry Lord for all the times I complained for my life 😔💔.”
Upon seeing the boy trembling in the rain and trying to hide at the side of a car, Carabbacan had his own realization of how blessed he is. The boy was only wearing a thin shirt with short pants and not even wearing a pair of slippers.
The boy was so wet because of the rain and even trembling in the cold and he felt so sad seeing the situation. This made him realize that he was so blessed and asked for forgiveness to the Lord for all his complains about his life.
Carabbacan wanted to share his realizations, so he snapped a photo of the young boy and posted it on his Facebook account and received positive comments.
Most of the netizens were touched and felt sad about the boy’s situation; they thought that people should know how to be thankful and contented with what they have. Some were hoping that the boy would receive assistance such as food and clothing.
Carabbacan hopes that his post could be a way for other people to extend their help for the poor young boy, especially this coming rainy season.
