Ditch Your Plastic Disposable Straw, Join The #SkipTheStraw Movement!

Ever since establishments, especially food chains, came up with the idea of strawless policy, consumers are going nuts.

But What About Those Who Have OCD?

This issue alarmed everyone who undergoes OCD. Some can’t drink sodas, juice, water, teas, even coffee without a straw. The feeling that germs crawl on the lid of the cup, or the fear that their teeth might get stained haunts consumers.

Robinson for their important work and for making the original video to bring this important story to the world. This video shows why plastic pollution is detrimental to marine life and why single-use plastics, such as drinking straws, are one of the most useless items made out of plastic, and destructive if they end up in our oceans. If you would like to support their research for the next three years, please think about donating to their GoFundMe Campaignhttp://gofundme.com/wuhvd6zj

We can see during the clip that sea turtles are greatly affected by our plastic wastes. And it would be from our collective effort, that the sufferings of these innocent animals be stopped.

Janice, the girl behind Janice in Wanderland, is not an exception for this matter. She admitted that having an OCD like this is hard, but seeing these turtles get hurt is harder.

She then found a solution for her dilemma. Something that would benefit both the turtles and the people who are just like her.

A Reusable Stainless Straw

Skip The Straw Movement

She encourages everyone to join the “SKIP THE STRAW” movement, by letting go of the traditional plastic straws that harm sea life. If you can’t really resist, you can buy alternatives like this stainless reusable straw that can be bought online. It comes with a cleaning brush so you can use it safe the next time.

She then calls for your attention,

I’m now joining the “SKIP THE STRAW” project. Straws doesn’t improve our drinking, it only let animals ingest plastics accidentally. It may look like a little effort from us, but it can have a huge impact to the environment.”

She challenges you! Yes, you! Are you up for it? Like her Faceboook page, for more information.
