Rendon Labador calls Lea Salonga ‘laos’

Most netizens understood Salonga’s position and were on her side. Labador, on the other hand, decided to blast the singer, saying that she had an ‘attitude’ problem.

Self-proclaimed motivational speaker Rendon Labador has called Lea Salonga washed up, after the theater star was seen telling her fans they were not allowed in her dressing room.

In a video uploaded on Facebook by Christopher Carpila, Salonga said the fans could not go inside the dressing room as they were not on the guest list.

“Unless you’re on the guest list we cannot have you back here.

“I’m sorry because if I allow this now then other people are gonna take advantage.”

Despite declining fans’ requests, Carpila complimented her.

“Lea idol na idol ka po namin. You’re so pretty, wala ka pang kupas. Napakagaling mo, napakahusay mo. Grabe talaga we’re so proud of you.”

Salonga expressed gratitude for the praise but mentioned the need for her to be vigilant with regard to individuals entering the dressing room.

Carpila replied, telling that they understood.

“Yes po, we understand po the protocol.”

Before reaching the exit, Lea called the group to take a group photo.

In the Facebook post, Carpila wrote that he recorded a video of the incident because they were allegedly asked to leave the front of the stage after the show.

Salonga briefly talked about boundaries on Twitter.

Most netizens understood Salonga’s position and were on her side. Labador, on the other hand, decided to blast the singer, saying that she had an ‘attitude’ problem.

Labador also said once more that he thinks Salonga is simply washed up.

Carpila has already deleted the video but refused to apologize.

Wala naman po akong sinabing masama,” he said in an interview with Julius Babao and Tintin Bersola-Babao
