LOOK: Joshua Garcia’s old photo from Sagala gets viral

The image was captured during a fiesta in San Roque, Bauan, Batangas, back in 2012 when Joshua Garcia was about 14 years old.

An old photo of celebrity Joshua Garcia has become viral on social media.

Garcia is one of the biggest stars in today’s generation of entertainers. However, he wasn’t always this famous, believe it or not.

Before entering the entertainment industry, Garcia was just an “average” guy.

This was made evident by a woman he knew back in the day.

The photo in question was shared by a certain Reina Carisse Forteza – Abrigonda. According to her, the photo was taken during a ‘Sagala’ procession.

“Kung alam ko lang na sisikat ka, sana pala sumagala na tayo simula Batangas City hanggang Mabini,” she wrote.

As per her interview with Pilipino Star Ngayon Digital, the image was captured during their fiesta in San Roque, Bauan, Batangas, back in 2012. Joshua was about 14 years old.

She disclosed that she was not acquainted with Joshua Garcia during that time and did not intend to have an escort during the event.

She eventually finished her studies and earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from Batangas State University. Garcia, meanwhile, was one of the 19 housemates in Pinoy Big Brother: All In.

Filming for the ABS-CBN and GMA Network collaborative project titled “Unbreak My Heart” has commenced, and Jodi Sta. Maria and Joshua Garcia are now in Switzerland for the shoot. Production company Dreamscape Entertainment confirmed their arrival through its official Instagram account on Friday, Feb. 10.

The joint venture between ABS-CBN and GMA, called ‘Unbreak My Heart’ was announced in January 2023 and was deemed by Cory Vidanes, the COO of ABS-CBN for broadcast, as a significant achievement in the industry.

Emmanuel Quindo Palo and Dolly Dulu direct the series, and the cast includes Eula Valdes, Nikki Valdez, Maey Bautista, Bianca De Vera, Will Ashley, and Laurice Guillen.
