Maine Mendoza responds to a Filipino in Singapore calling her a “snub”

The tv host responded, saying that the sales associate and her group were disrespectful to her.

Filipino actress and television personality Maine Mendoza has spoken about a recent incident in which she was allegedly labeled as being a “snub” when a Filipino sales associate in Singapore, whom she described as “disrespectful and entitled” tried to interact with her.

Mendoza responded to a fan account on Twitter that had reposted a Facebook post by a sales associate, Joyce Chaneco Villamar, who works at a retail store in Ngee Ann Mall in Singapore.

Suplada pala sa personal itong si Maine Mendoza na ito. So disappointed with you,” the now-deleted post read.

The tv host responded, saying that the sales associate and her group were disrespectful to her.

Mendoza also stated that Villamar allegedly shared with everyone inside the store that Mendoza had snubbed her.

However, the “fan” still posted her photo with the ‘Eat Bulaga’ host.

Mendoza stated her disappointment while replying to a netizen who reacted to the post and expressed, “Oh if you only know how disrespectful and entitled those ladies were, especially the sales associate, ay maloloka ka nalang talaga. By far the worst experience/interaction with kababayans abroad. Bastos.”

On another occasion, Mendoza was photographed in Taiwan with her fiancé, Arjo Atayde, and his family members, including actresses Sylvia Sanchez and Ria Atayde. Actor Zanjoe Marudo, who is rumored to be dating Ria Atayde, also joined the group.
