What are the separations of Carla-Tom and Moira-Jason trying to tell us?

Is it something that served as a warning to never marry a best friend? It could be to some people. It gets easier for some of us to understand why some people are afraid to cross the border of friendship and why they have chosen to stay as best friends.

The two celebrity break-ups got marred by issues of infidelity. Could there be something more than meets the eye?

There is a kind of beauty that best appreciated from afar, because the moment you come closer only reveals grisly details and even its dangers.

That saying also goes with relationships, right?

Some stayed and cherished being the best of friends for a long time, but when they finally decided to go deeper–tied the knot–devastating complications surfaced.

That seemed to be the case for some celebrity couples, whose married lives ended after just a short span of time. Of these couples, the ones who made into the headlines and trending topics on social media are no doubt Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez, and Moira de la Torre and Jason Hernandez.

It is interesting to note the similarities between these couples.

Both marred by infidelity issues–the men being the subject of cheating speculations. Jason Hernandez publicly admitted that he was “unfaithful” throughout his three-year marriage with the recording superstar. On the other hand, Rodriguez is yet to [similarly] admit the same mistake, but reports suggesed that may also be the case.

Although again, that remains to be a speculation.

It is also worth-noting that both failed marriages came in the wake of years of fruitful friendship.

Moira and Jason were best friends and were already making music together for years, before they decided to exchange ‘I Do’s’. That is also the case for Carla and Tom, who were friends for several years before vowed to be husband and wife last year.

The Kapuso stars (Rodriguez and Abellana) barely made it six months as married couple before cheating and separation rumors started intriguing netizens. Moira and Jason, on the other hand, were three years into the married life when issues about their marriage going through rough patches made it on social media trends.

Is it something that served as a warning to never marry a best friend? It could be to some people. It gets easier for some of us to understand why some people are afraid to cross the border of friendship and why they have chosen to stay as best friends.

However, some are amazed by how some whirlwind romances turn out to be long-lasting relationships. Isn’t that the case for Aga Mulach and Charlene Gonzales, who had their wedding day barely a year after they started working on a TV project?

To love is a marvel? It moves in mysterious ways, and it either builds your up or breaks you down. Unfortunately, some relationships have to end at one point, but every end is an opportunity to begin something better.

Hope springs from a tragedy. That may be all the people need–to never stop moving forward.

Does this tell us to never marry your best friend? It could be to some people. Now it gets easier for some of us to understand why some people are afraid to cross the border of friendship, and why they stayed as just best friends. That said, we are similarly amazed by how some whirlwind romances turn out to be long-lasting relationships. Isn’t that the case for Aga Mulach and Charlene Gonzales, who had their wedding day barely a year after they started working on a TV project.
