On April 25, Las Piñas, a certain netizen called out an abusive man in a post who later got identified as Gerzon Dave Gonzales, who hit a senior citizen, named Tatay Julian with a baseball bat and later apologized after going viral.
In the posted footage by a concerned netizen, Gonzales got captured on video while attacking and later hitting old Julian with a baseball bat after a heated argument about a vehicular collision.
The footage made netizens furious and received different reactions as it made rounds on social media.
A netizen wrote in a post revealing the plate number of Gonzales and his actions.

Gonzales posted and apologized in a now-deleted post to Tatay Julian that read:
“I’M SORRY TATAY JULIAN. PATAWARIN MO AKO. PASENSYA NA PO SA PANGYAYARI AT NADALA AKO NG EMOSYON KO. LUBOS KONG PINAGSISISIHAN ANG AKING NAGAWA. AKO NA PO ANG BAHALA SA LAHAT NG GASTUSIN NG PAGPAPAGAMOT MO.
TO MY BASHERS, WAG NA PO SANA NATIN PALAKIHIN ANG LAHAT NG ITO.. MAG
UUSAP KAMI ULIT NI TATAY JULIAN.”
Netizens were quick to react on his apology.

Social media star/influencer Christian Gaza also symphatized and is eager to give 100k pesos to the family of Tatay Julian if they file a case for the abuse of Gerson Gonzales.
“Kung si Tatay ay madadaan mo sa drama drama, pwes……. hindi ako si Tatay, Gerson. Yung mga kapamilya ni Tatay Julian ay maaaring mag-reach out lamang po sa Isyus page para matuluyan natin si boy bonjing batuta.
