The UniTeam wasted no time discrediting Vice President Leni Robredo after her Pink movement’s recent successful rallies.
Publications owned by Rep. Martin Romualdez, the first cousin of presidential aspirant Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., produced headlines critical of Robredo.

How is this surprising to anyone when the Romualdezes own the tabloid? They also own the Manila Standard. pic.twitter.com/Q6CB6nTVEv

Some of its topics included Robredo’s camp allegedly paying people to attend her rallies and the NPA allegedly backing her candidacy.

One also highlighted Robredo’s waning satisfaction rating based on an SWS survey.
The writings came after Robredo’s visits and impressive mobilization of crowds in Cagayan and Isabela, provinces that long supported the Marcos family.
People were disgusted with what they saw.

A writer named Marlon Purificacion is a usual producer of articles targeting Robredo.

The Kakampinks see the attempt as a sign of desperation.

Grabe na ang kalat ng MISINFORMATION. Let us not allow what the FVR camp did to the deceased Miriam Defensor Santiago – that BRENDA (brain damaged) thing w/c gravely affected the late senator’s campaign momentum, esp among the youth. It really destroyed Miriam. Let’s not allow it pic.twitter.com/SoDOm6EXEI

Rappler’s Miriam Go has also urged the Kakampinks to avoid sharing photos of the tabloid.

Pink friends, please do your candidate a favor and stop sharing the front page of that tabloid owned by another candidate's cousin.
You think you're just pointing out their bias, but you're actually helping spread their anti-Robredo headlines.#PHVote #WeDecide
