Mayor Isko Moreno careful to comment on Bongbong Marcos “coward” remarks, Sen. Manny Pacquiao pulls no punches

Moreno explained that he doesn’t force members of his camp to share all his views

Presidential aspirant Isko Moreno refused to agree with his campaign manager’s remark that former senator Bongbong Marcos is a “coward” for rejecting invites to debates and interviews.

“He is entitled to his opinion,” Moreno told the media when asked to comment on his campaign manager’s observation.

“‘Yung opinion niya may be different from me. Karapatan niyang sabihin niya ‘yung pakiramdam niya,” he said.

Lito Banayo said Marcos’ absences are not admirable.

“It is a show of cowardice on the part of Marcos Jr.,” Banayo said during a press conference in Manila.

Moreno explained that he doesn’t force members of his camp to share all his views.

What matters most is that ‘pag kami nagkakampaniya, nag-iikot, lahat sama-sama hanggat maaari, lahat cooperative. Happy na ako ng ganun,” he said.

Kapag personal na paniniwala ng tao, hindi ko na masyadong sinasaklawan pero pag maggogobyerno na tayo, panahon na ng serbisyo, we will be in synchrony,” he added.

Meanwhile, Sen. Manny Pacquiao believes Marcos lacks the moral ascendancy to lead a country.

Sa akin, wala,” he told reporters during a visit to Nueva Ecija.

I am not referring to a particular candidate but to all candidates from the national down to local level who are corrupt.” he added, referring to Marcos’ tax conviction.

Pacquiao also noted Marcos’ role in the Napoles case.
