Are trolls desperate? Here’s the truth about VP Leni Robredo’s “martial arts” robe

The presidential aspirant was wearing a “Happi coat” given to her by a businesswoman named Abby who apparently owns a number of Daiso branches in the country

Critics of Vice President Leni Robredo have once again mocked her without researching.

One would be recording artist Richard Poon, and another is blogger Krizette Laureta Chu.

Photos of Robredo wearing something that looks like a martial arts robe recently made rounds on social media. Trolls and critics immediately saw it as another campaign strategy.

Here is Poon making fun of Robredo.

Chu also joined in on the action.

Robredo has had some questionable strategies in promoting her candidacy but this one shouldn’t even be considered as such.

The presidential aspirant was wearing a “Happi coat” given to her by Abby, who apparently owns a number of Daiso branches in the country.

Abby became a fan of Robredo because of the accomplishments she constantly shares on social media. She was honored to meet her idol in person finally.

“Her sincerity is so infectious- she spoke from her heart at the same time with humility. She is simple yet glowingly beautiful.” Abby wrote.
“She was so grateful for the support of the Kakampinks in Japan, but actually she was truly overwhelmed and amazed how people respond to support her and Sen Kiko. The spirit of volunteerism makes her hopeful – giving her more strength to work harder,” she added.

Should Robredo lose, the country would lose the opportunity to be led by a real public servant, she furthered.
Robredo is slowly gaining new supporters as her policies become more evident to the public.
