Angelica Panganiban has come out with another video urging the public to avoid political candidates plagued with issues of corruption.
Her previous “hugot” video was a warning about those who steal and deceive. This one was more about never forgetting what happened in the past.
She started by noting the “scammers” who exploit the problems brought about by the pandemic. She also talked about sellers maximizing their profits in the sales of health essentials, highlighting that face shields should be considered as such.
“Mga ate, kuya, buhay at kalusugan ang pinag-uusapan natin dito. Kawawa ‘yung mga totoong nangangailangan sa atin. Kaya ako, one strike, one rule lang talaga ako,” she said.
The actress stressed she won’t give any second chances to those candidates who took advantage of their positions.
“Wala ako sa mga second chance-second chance, sa mga kembak-kembak na ‘yan!”
“‘Pag may history ng pambubudol, never again, never forget tayo!” she added.
Panganiban also brought up the fake promise of people receiving gold if a certain candidate wins the presidency.
“Kaya ngayong eleksyon, naku, mag-ingat tayo sa mga scammers. Naglipana ‘yan. Iwasan natin ‘yung mga nangangako ng gold. Mambubudol ‘yan. ‘Wag na tayo magpauto, at por Diyos, por santo, ‘wag bumoto ng magnanakaw.” she concluded.
Her hugot video hit a lot of nerves, prompting the supporters of a presidential candidate to make a parody out of it.
Her fans are expecting that another would come out soon.
