Poor balut vendor mocked by DDS after spitting facts on new COVID-19 policies

Just like the rest of the public, Parina believes the new policy is anti-poor

A balut vendor was forced to issue a public apology after ranting against the “no vaccination, no ride” policy recently implemented by the government.

Gemma Parina used to be a huge supporter of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, but that admiration is long gone due to the new health measures in place.

She hopped on Radyo Inquirer and discussed why she decided to air out her frustration.

“Idolong-idolo ko po kayo, kaya lang Pangulo, nawalan ako nung [interes] nung pinatupad mo yung no vaccine, no ride,” Parina said in a seprate video.

The “no vaccination, no ride” policy impacts the people with no vehicles the most, especially the poor who have yet to get inoculated against the coronavirus.

She was mocked by Duterte-supporters and made fun of, a practice the group is notoriously known for.

She’d love to get protected, but her pre-existing conditions could worsen.

“May sakit ako sa puso e. May high blood ako. May diabetes ako.

Her outburst happened right following her failure to enter Paco Market on Thursday.

Like the rest of the public, Parina believes the new policy is anti-poor.

“Alam mo ang ikaso ko sa kanila? Harassment. Ano, wala na tayong human rights? Dapat lahat ng Pilipino magkaisa may vaccine man o wala, kasi g*nag*g* na tayo ng gobyernong ‘yan eh,” she continued.

According to her, the police and barangay chairman seek to file charges against her.

She also went after Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.

Parina has since apologized and said she did nothing wrong.
