Arnold Clavio responds to bashers wishing for him to die after catching COVID-19

His supporters played a huge role in his recovery. He said he couldn’t have done it without them

Kapuso news anchor Arnold Clavio was shocked to see people wishing for his death to come sooner after he tested positive for COVID-19.

On Instagram, he gave daily updates on his condition from Day 1 to Day 10. His supporters prayed for a speedy recovery, but his critics weren’t too friendly.

Some said his positive test was only karma coming back to bite him. Clavio is a known critic of the administration. Duterte supporters are notorious for personal attacks and distasteful jokes.

But none of the comments fazed the veteran journalist. He only wishes that his critics won’t experience the worst of the pandemic.

“Maging handa tayong lahat!!!” he said.

Despite the horrible experience, Clavio is thankful that he was put through the challenge because he wouldn’t have discovered a newfound strength without it.

“I’m thankful for my struggle because, without it, I wouldn’t have stumbled across my strength,” he said.

His supporters played a huge role in his recovery. He said he couldn’t have done it without them.

He couldn’t stop helping everyone who helped him during his struggle with the disease.

Clavio still suffers from coughing, but his temperature and oxygen level are now normal.

Panginoon, salamat.” he concluded.
