Pharmally Biological Inc. stockholder Rose Nono-Lin had netizens wishing “sana all” after revealing that it was common for her to see new cars in their garage.
Senate Blue Ribbon Committee Chair Richard Gordon brought up Nono-Lin’s wealth at the latest Senate hearing on the Philippine govt’s pandemic deals with Pharmally.
He had various questions about her assets, and she was straightforward in answering.
She said her family had sold many cars in the past, including a 2018 Cadillac Escalade worth P8.9 million.
“Yung mga sasakyan na binili namin before the pandemic pa po… Yung Cadillac po nabenta na po,” she said.
Lin then admitted that she doesn’t know much about the vehicles because her family often changes cars.
“Pag umuuwi ako sa bahay minsan, nagugulat na lang po ako na may sasakyan, nagugulat na rin po ako na wala nang sasakyan… parang ang ginagawa po niya (Lin) kapag may kaibigan po siya na magustuhan ang sasakyan,” she added.
Currently, she rides a 2019 Toyota Alphard worth P3.9 million, a 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser worth P4.8 million, a Land Rover worth P11.9 million, and a 2019 Lexus LX450D worth P8.8 million, which she says just spawned in her garage.
“Hindi po ako mahilig sa sasakyan, okay na po sa akin basta tumatakbo at may masasakyan po ako papunta sa opisina,”
She said her husband bought all the cars and that he paid for them with clean money.
“Pagdating po, alam ko po na ang pera ng asawa ko ay legal… Lahat po, ang alam ko legal. At kung ano man ang kagustuhan niyang ibigay sa akin, ay kasama na ang anak ko, hindi lang ako.”
Netizens could only wish that they, too, would just find a Lexus waiting for them to drive.

Lin, the corporate treasurer and an incorporator of Pharmally Biologicals resides in Forbes Park, which has a rent of P750,000—more expensive than Michael Yang’s P500,000 a month.
“May kalakihan, at yun ang bahay kung saan nakatira ng mga anak ko. Personal na pera naming mag-asawa… sandaling panahon lang po ako sa Avocado,” Lin said.
She is active in Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO) and real estate. Lin is also running for a seat in the House of Representatives seat under the 5th district.
