Christian Albert Gaza, commonly known as Xian Gaza, called out viral online psychic Rudy Baldwin for her alleged modus operandi regarding her said fake predictions.
Rudy captured the attention of netizens as her predictions regarding natural calamities and celebrity deaths were supposedly came true. This earned her more than 4 million followers on social media.
However, Xian was not amused by the psychic’s attention as he exposed her during a live stream on his Facebook page, NYEAM.
“It takes one to know one. Dati akong scammer. Dati akong convicted scammer so alam ko ‘yung mga kauri ko,” said the social media star after stating that people have messaged him asking for help as they have been fooled by the woman who claimed to be a psychic.
He then claimed that Rudy would often use his verified social media page to contact his followers and offer her prediction services in exchange for money. She will not disclose her alleged predictions to her customers unless they have successfully deposited the payment into her account.
Xian added that Rudy would often tell her clients tragic and negative predictions as manipulation towards them.
“Ime-message siya ng followers niya. Magpapahula. Virtual hula. Huhulaan niya. [Sasabihin niya], ‘May vision ako sa’yo pero deposit muna sa bank account at Gcash ko.’ Lahat ng ibi-vision niya doon sa taong nagbayad ay panay trahedya, at ang very vulnerable mind ay nama-manipulate niya.”
He claimed that Rudy would ask for extra payment in exchange for prayers for her customer to avoid the said tragedy that’s supposed to happen in the future.
“Nakukuha niyo na ngayon yung modus operandi niya? Na yung mga baliw na baliw sa kanya, pagbabayarin niya para hulaan ng kapalaran at sasabihin niya puros negative. At para hindi mangyari ‘yon, ‘dadasalan kita ngayon kung maghulog ka ulit ng pera sa aking banko o Gcash.”
Her clients would question her credibility as soon as she starts offering them an amulet worth Php20,000 to Php50,000 each. Xian said that the psychic earns a huge sum of money per month because of this scheme.
“She’s earning Php1 to Php2 million pesos per month because of this. Pabayad sa hula, pabayad sa amulet, pabayad sa mga orasyon at dasal pangontra sa mga kamalasan na kanyang na-vision kuno. Paano ko nalaman? May lumapit sa akin na dalawang tao… Hindi ko nakayanan kaya sabi ko, i-expose ko na to, hindi ito pwede.”
Comments on Xian’s live stream backed up his claims as they noted that whenever her prediction did not happen, Rudy would say that it was avoided because of the power of her prayers.
“She’s trying to manipulate people’s minds by her so-called predictions. Tsambahan lang. Pag di nagkatotoo, sasabihin nakuha sa dasal. LOL. Please stop following her. We should know better,” a netizen wrote.
The video now has more than 1.2 million views.
While people stated that Rudy could get arrested for her alleged modus operandi, she responded by challenging her accusers to face the authorities.
She also stated that the accusations regarding her “amulets” are false.
Almost a year ago, influencer Donnalyn Bartolome was alarmed as Rudy predicted the death of a YouTuber due to cardiac arrest and a female vlogger’s accident that would cause her severe injuries.
Bothered by the prediction, Donnalyn went ahead and decided to talk to Rudy for clarification. The latter claimed that she was pertaining to someone else and not the influencer.
