Charles Delgado turns to erotic videos to fund his wife’s medical bills

Delgado assured that his wife knew about his new way of earning money, but he’s still worried about his children’s reaction if ever they’d know about it in the future.

Indie star Charles Delgado openly talked about his choice of doing erotic content to support his family and his wife’s medical needs.

As his better half is undergoing chemotherapy for her ovarian and lung cancer, he admitted that they’re having a hard time, especially now that the pandemic is nowhere near done.

“Since 2019 pa po nagki-chemo and wife ko. Sobrang hirap,” he said during an online interview with Pep.ph.

At Stage 2B of her illness, they needed to think of ways to afford all the medicines and therapies to improve her condition. Delgado admitted that he has come to the point that he didn’t know what to do as he already sold all of his belongings like his car and gadgets.

Pang-chemotherapy niya, ganun.”

The 29-year-old stated that they spent more than half a million pesos for his wife’s chemotherapy in 2019 and around Php600,000 in 2020. This included radiation therapy and brachytherapy.

In July of 2021, Delgado decided to be active on his social media accounts and shoot his shot on being an online sex worker.

“So, nag-try akong pumasok sa ganun. Baka lang… siyempre, kahit papa’no, magkaroon ng income.”

He had the idea to sell erotic content when one of his friends informed him about the business. Soon after, strangers offered to make him an account to post his videos in.

So, natatakot ako. Natatakot akong magtiwala.”

When he started uploading his videos, he admitted that he felt pressured to make content on his own.

If he’d stop selling erotic videos and get a regular job, it still won’t be enough to afford their needs.

Delgado assured that his wife knew about his new way of earning money, but he’s still worried about his children’s reaction if ever they’d know about it in the future.

His first acting gig was in a movie titled Booking, which was shown in 2009. He had a role that had a full-frontal scene back then. Almost all of his movies involved having intimate relationships with other men.

Delgado has been a part of at least 13 indie films.
