A grandfather garnered praise from netizens after a photo of him helping his grandchildren with their school modules spread across social media.

Bonifacio Santolaja is a treasurer at the Office of Senior Citizen (OSCA) in Tacurong City who does not receive a salary because he works for the “labor of love”, said Facebook page DepEd Tayo soccsksargen in a post that has nearly 2k likes.

Every time Bonifacio is done with his work, he calls on his grandchildren so they can work on their modules together.

One of the photos that really made netizens admire Bonifacio is of him using a magnifying glass to read the modules. At 93-years of age, it is expected for someone like him to have relatively poorer eyesight.

Not only that, he seems to be really engaged in teaching his grandchildren.
