Katas ng BPO: Call center employee shares his achievement after working for four years

He has experienced the toughest challenges of being a call center agent but that didn’t stop him from working hard.

  • A BPO employee shared his journey of how he finally managed to have his own home.
  • After five companies and a few years’ worth of sacrifices, he was finally able to reach his dream.

A BPO worker shared his achievement after four years of working as a call center agent.

Sam Blanca has endured the sleeplessness, hard work, and challenges of working in several BPO companies just to earn money and save up for his dream purchase: his own house.

He shared that he worked with five companies. The first one being Trec Pacific Corporation. He started working when he was still a student so he had to sacrifice his sleep to attend classes in the morning and be a call center agent at night. He decided to leave when he graduated.

Blanca experienced his first-ever promotion at his second workplace, 24/7 Intouch.

“Sobrang laki ng natulong ng company na ‘to especially sa growth ‘ko,” he wrote.

The netizen wasn’t quite lucky with his third company as he said that he experienced some disappointing things. He only lasted there for a month.

“Sa bawat kumpanyang papasukin mo makakaranas ka talaga ng politika na ikaw na lang mismo ang susuko. But, it won’t hinder me to stop and continue my vision.”

Blanca’s fourth job was with The Results Companies. There were somethings he wasn’t in favor of but he still lasted nine months in the company.

He worked at Omega Healthcare as a Quality Analyst.

“Omega means end. Pinangako ko sa sarili ko na ito na ang huling kumpanyang papasukan ko sa industriyang ito,” he said.

His journey is not easy and definitely required a lot of patience and sacrifice but in the end, he still emerged as the winner because, after all those years of going through it all, he finally got his own house.

“Hindi madali. Dadaan ka sa mga pagsubok. Pero wag kang bibitaw para sa pangarap mo,” he wrote.

“I got this when I was 22. Now I am 25 and ready to settle and live independently.”

His post now has more than 4,000 shares on Facebook.
